Facing a Dilemma.
The church choir is considering caroling to shut-ins this season. Face covers and social distancing will be in place, but if i'm to believe what we're told about the causal chain and covid-19, a question of conscience may be raised. I feel an obligation to offer the choir an explanation for my decision to decline, but wish to avoid offending or discouraging othes. So far i've remained silent.

Good question. Resqueyah asks:
"As Eichengreen’s chart shows, money supply growth was rapid in 1923, 1924, and 1925. It returned to relatively normal levels in 1926, 1927, and 1928, and then the Federal Reserve dramatically tightened the money supply in 1929 and 1930 out of fear that stock prices were “too high.” As Friedman and Schwartz put it, the Fed drove the economy into recession in order to pop a nonexistent stock market bubble."

Our Story
Ethics or moral philosophy is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct.[1] The term ethics derives from Ancient Greek ἠθικός (ethikos), from ἦθος (ethos), meaning 'habit, custom'. The field of ethics, along with aesthetics concern matters of value, and thus comprise the branch of philosophy called axiology.[2]
Ethics seeks to resolve questions of human morality by defining concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice and crime. As a field of intellectual enquiry, moral philosophy also is related to the fields of moral psychology, descriptive ethics, and value theory.
