Basement goals! Curved but very comfy sofa, layered marble coffee table, and a gallery wall. And although the sconce makes it look very custom, it’s a simple battery operated one that really elevates the space.
Same room, same table.. scroll for a satisfying before and after. room
When I first saw the living space, I thought, what awkward millwork! Weird placement, and although I love the high ceilings, something just felt off. Generally, when I walk into a space, I prefer to walk into the opening part of the sofa rather than the back of the sofa, which I found that reversing it here really helped. For the wall, I really hated how the right tower stopped at an awkward place given that the ceiling. Thankfully, I was able to come up with an idea to camouflage this by using a wood texture on the back wall as well as some hanging planters to cover the corner. When I walk into my living room, I’m thrilled and I can’t believe that I was able to make a builder grade home feel pretty custom!
Creating a feature wall where you have existing windows can be a real challenge. Here we decided to create multiple frames to line up with the windows. We placed a really cool wood texture within the frames as well as a floral wallpaper in the ceiling in the coffered ceilings. The cherry on top is the contortionist balancing a ball and kicking it towards the ceiling, wall, light fixture, and underneath the coffee table. Do you see the sphere theme?
When I walk into most homes, clients basements are basically a collection of old furniture. Here we wanted a space that felt luxurious but still acted as a teaching moment for the kiddos. We opted for a wood map where you pin where you’ve been and curved furniture that definitely doesn’t feel like a basement. Love how it all came together!
Consider adding a mix of textures and materials to create a pleasing vignette. Still loving this kitchen!
The first thing you see when you walk into a home should be a wow! Here you’re greeted with this super cool juggler, curved console, and an irregular mirror that fits perfectly in the mural. It has been so great being back in Calgary and now to finally see my projects come to life.. well it’s amazing. Scrolling between the two photos gives me so much joy. Now all this juggler needs is a cowboy hat 🤠
When you get a house from a builder, they typically just give you the basics. You have to put in some time, money, and creativity to make it feel like your own. One cool way to do this is by adding future walls. You can take a plain wall and turn it into something amazing. I personally love using wallpaper panels, moldings, and lately, I’ve been exploring three-dimensional materials. Here we took some materials and arranged them in a way that gives the illusion of fading into the window. It’s pretty mind-blowing to see how much you can transform a space and make it feel totally different.
Welcome to my kitchen! When I first saw this kitchen, I wasn’t impressed, but I wasn’t disappointed either. I knew it just needed the right finishing touches to make it feel more like a home rather than a stage to look. When I scroll through between the two photos, I really see how small changes can make a huge difference.
Welcome to our larger guest room, I still can’t believe we have two! Here we went with a bold mural with pops of blue. I love the subtle detail in the bed and yes that stack on the right is wallpaper!! We have family visiting this weekend and I’m so excited for them to see this space :)

A calming dining room for a beautiful couple- This was a challenging space as it was small and the ceilings were low, so we kept everything light and bright. And tried our best to distract from the air conditioning unit by placing a solid light fixture.
In this bathroom we wanted to create a minimal look and the feeling of symmetry. We opted for something unique which is a mirror that is etched out for led lighting. We paired the round light with round sinks. On the left is the door to the shower - thankfully less glass to clean and on the right is the entry to the water closet.
I’m always spotting bedrooms that have walls way too far from the bed and barely any room for storage. But in this new home we worked on, we got to start from scratch and redesign the room. So we decided to push forward the headboard wall allowing for an entire wardrobe behind the bed and also making for an optimal viewing distance to the TV wall. We went with glass storage on either side of the bed, a full upholstered headboard, chevron floors and green accents.
Modern, minimalist basement featuring an open layout with an L-shaped sectional sofa facing a large projection screen. The sleek dining/bar area includes an elongated island with integrated sink and minimalist chairs. Recessed lighting and neutral tones create a clean, sophisticated atmosphere perfect for relaxation and entertainment. And thank you ChatGPT for helping me when my brain is fried!
Here’s another detail shot showcasing the Dior inspired condo
It’s so important to incorporate the activities you enjoy into your design. Here we added a space for the grand piano right near the entryway with two steps up so that guest can sit on the steps while listening to music. 🎶
Do you ever walk into a restaurant and always ask for the booth? My clients have four kids and they all wanted to be together in the kitchen and still have it be comfortable yet glamorous. We came up with this concept which is less common but still functions really well for large families. Kids do homework in the kitchen while you can keep the eye on them. The end result turned out beautifully.
Hope you’re having a chill Sunday! Honestly, all I wanna do is relax in a hot tub and catch some z’s, but here I am, with two kids, trying to manage their crazy schedules. This was supposed to be our dream house, but now that life has caught up with me and I’m too busy to even enjoy it, it doesn’t sting as much that we didn’t get to build it. Sometimes life takes you in a different direction and in this case it was for the best.
Condos can get kinda tricky. There’s not much room and hardly any storage in the entryway. We wanted a big space for coats and shoes, but we also needed a spot to put your shoes on. So we thought, why not extend the tv feature wall and create a separate entryway area using a tower to separate the two. We mixed up some textures and curves to bring the two spaces together and, I gotta say, it’s lookin’ pretty darn good.
Hey, come on in! So, when we first checked out this place, those super tall ceilings were like, “Yep, sold!” I honestly didn’t think I’d be into a bungalow, but turns out it’s the perfect fit for our two little munchkins. We went all out with this mural wallpaper for the entry walls, and picked out cool stuff like a textured planter, travertine console and a led mirror. Gotta say, I’m pretty stoked about how the whole space came together.

I had the pleasure of designing this beautiful home in Halifax Canada. We had a traditional floor plan but wanted to make it feel really luxurious and up-to-date. I love how you can see the stairs from this living room conversation area, and wall details for a large dinner party.
At the end of a tiring day, it’s nice to just chill out, put your feet up, and watch a good movie. And let me tell you, a well-designed, amazing room can really enhance the movie-watching experience. These days, movies aren’t that great, so if you have any cool movie suggestions, feel free to send them my way. Hopefully, you’ll get to enjoy one tonight too!
Sundays are a great day to have friends and family over. Here we added a cute bar right next to the dining space with a full size wine fridge. We played with wood, marble, brass and mirror for the perfect balance. Sometimes it’s the secondary spaces that really make the home a wow.
Gym sessions can get pretty challenging, so it’s a good idea to set up a workout space that’s full of natural light and glass, and gives you that extra motivation to improve yourself. Putting some thought and investment into your environment can really amp up your productivity in every aspect.
So, building costs have gone through the roof lately and I’m constantly on the lookout for clever tricks to give things a more luxurious vibe without breaking the bank. Check out the cool led lighting in this room - it instantly elevates the space. We ran it along the wall and ceiling to create a cool, asymmetrical effect.
I love creating 3D models because they allow me to make the most of every bit of space and really bring it to life. Sometimes we overlook those walls that aren’t the main focus and don’t fully consider their potential. But in this design, we took advantage of a small corner and made it functional by adding a makeup vanity, a TV with storage, and a small coffee station. Now the whole wall feels cohesive and well-designed.
This lounge is just right for a family with four girls! We made sure there’s lots of storage, working desks, and a comfy sofa and swing so everyone can chat and relax. To add some flair, we combined two different wood tones with a hint of gold and completed the look with stunning herringbone floors.
