It’s all in the prep. Create a perfect base and your tan will last much longer and fade more evenly...
A day or two before your spray tan, give your entire body a thorough scrub using an oil-free exfoliator to get rid of any dead skin cells and smooth rough areas such as your knee's and elbows, moisturise well afterwards using a light body cream....
On the day of your spray tan have a shower but don’t use soap or shower gel the oils from these products can sit on your skin even after washing and cause your spray tan to have a streaky finish. Just buff with a clean flannel and skip the moisturiser.....
After your tan you need to leave your colour to develop for as long as possible, 8-12 hours before showering, overnight if possible. And don’t wash your hands! it sounds gross but it’s the only way to avoid the ‘white’ hand look, use a baby wipe or alcohol gel to clean them......
Always moisturise after tanning as it will prolong your colour and keep it looking smooth and will allow the tan to fade gradually.
