Australia’s original “Renovation Queen”, I made renovation shows big nation-wide and was the first Australian woman to host a prime time television show solo.

Joining the Nine Network in early 1998 as a presenter for the highly successful Our House series, I was quickly asked to host my very own reno program — becoming the first Australian woman to host two prime time shows concurrently.

With 40 episodes airing throughout each rating year between 1998 and 2005, Changing Rooms soon became one of the highest rating shows on the Nine Network.

While working on Changing Rooms — not only hosting, but also helping produce and contributing creatively to Changing Rooms — I further diversified by hosting six prime time shows including Changing Rooms Special Operations, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, Body of Work, Mothers in War and Renovation Rescue, becoming one of the Nine Network’s most bankable stars.
