Hope 2024 is amazing for you, in every way... Be kind...
A few things up my tiny sleeve ... Please stay tuned and much love to you all... and your cats ;)
Mystic Circle Official More collaborations you say?? Well I never! I wonder what it could be?? ;)
I sung on this album many moons ago, so if anyone is interested.... this hot vinyl is limited to 500 copies...
Also, I hope you all have a lovely Christmas. I know that isn't the case for many thousands over the world, so much war, poverty and abuse, maybe you lost some one dear or the whole Christmas thing is a bad memory... Remember you are not alone and talking, reaching out to someone can help you a lot. A problem shared ....
Many thanks to all who have supported myself and Torn Between Two Worlds this year, so very grateful. Much love to you all and see you in 2024! x
Our long time friend got the INFERNAL SATANIC VERSES limited Edition Vinyl on which she sang and inspired us in 1999.
Also there will be more collabaration in the Future maybe.
Thanks for always beeing there for us over this years.
A massive thank you to everyone that has been supporting Torn Between Two Worlds since we started a few years back. We didn't do much this year and I wished I had seen the Wrapped for the other 2 years, but this is amazing. We couldn't be happier. It's all down to you lot. This is of course just Spotify alone, but thank you for all the buying and streaming. Please don't stop listening and sharing!
You lot are incredible # # #
So I've been recording for people, one band I can't mention until they announce it and the other is Lord Kaos (Find them on Instagram ONLY) Astennu's band (Dimmu/Covenant) ... I have to admit, the music is brilliant. Proud to be part of the album.
Was chatting with the lead singer and he mentioned "World Essence" from The Stargate Mortiis ... Its been a very long time since I heard that track and I thought "Damn, is that me"... Almost sent myself to sleep haha .... I forget the things I've done, how proud I was... would love to do something like this again.
Mortiis-World Essence (3) From the album, "The Stargate"."The Stargate" is the last ambient album by Mortiis before he switched over to Goth music. This album is distinctly different ...
The 30th of November 2020, after quitting touring and music for over 8 years, Chris taught me Logic Pro X and we did this.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0L3EKIoSNA
Thanks to some AMAZING people like Chris Rehn, Lindsay Schoolcraft, M. Kamijo, Curtis and his PR team and so many others, including all of you, I wouldn't have ruined your ears for 3 years once again. Chris and I, started Torn Between Two Worlds and I did other tracks for people, including re recording the song "A Sign Of Sublime Redux" with my red hot s*x pot mate Ghul (Mayhem) and another old friend Ricardo (Moonspell) who helped with "Cites In Dust". My awesome friend Pete who helped with the videos and Elliot who runs the band camp and this page... I mean, I am so incredibly lucky. I was lucky enough to team up with Lindsay Schoolcraft on 2 of her songs and I must say, she has been a tower of strength, pushing and pushing me.
I am in the process of finishing vocals for Astennu (Ex Dimmu/Covenant) for his band Lord Kaos, also.... other things up my sleeve, which I can't announce yet. People who are connected to COF have stepped in to help with art and videos, also people I lost touch with came back to say "Hi, do you need help". Again, I am very lucky....
My sister helped shoot this video, I looked ok until I got out the car and almost got blown into a bush haha... Ive just so many thank yous...
I take nothing for granted... I do not do music for fame or shows any longer, too many snakes, its on my terms now, but thank you for giving me the time of day... PLEASE go to Spotify and other sites and stream ALL the Torn Between Two Worlds songs, including my 3 tracks on my band camp.... As I always say... play it loud and share the music!
Trve Kvlt Coffee ...... thank you also for believing in me and giving the Torn Between fans coffee!!!

Fun fact! (Actually it's not a fun fact, it's an embarrassing one haha)I thought I could remember every song I have ever sung/guested on.... until today. So I was chatting with Beelzebub from Mystic Circle Official today, many who have followed me for so many years know that I sung on one of their albums "Infernal Satanic Verses" and I have little memories if I am honest, because it was so long ago and I am old, incontinent and shrivelled like a slug (Ok, almost). He was using an example of some vocals I had done "That Bathory cover"... He sent me a link and I was extremely confused... Because I am old, incontinent (Ok, not really) and shrivelled... like a slug...
I listened and I messaged him back and I said "Is that me?" and he laughed as if I was joking... I asked again "Is that me?" .... I mean, it sounded like me, but I had no recollection of this track or recording it. So, I am posting it. I know so many people hate covers, for various reasons, in fact this recording, like many other covers songs likely pi**ed off the elitists... But I think its brilliant... The atmosphere is brilliant. You cover a song, do you make it the same, change it or do a bit of both? Anyway... I don't remember this song and its a nice surprise... so give Mystic Circle a bit go love :)
Mystic Circle - One Rode To Asa Bay (Bathory Cover) Album: Kriegsgötter II
I do apologise, but we seemed to have an issue with "Daddy's Not Coming Home", BUT! It's now sorted. No one could listen to it or buy it and now you can. So thank you to all who did manage to buy it and listen, hopefully a few more now check it out :)
Also, I am just giving the heads up, there will be another Scars and Guitars chat... I won't say too much, but wanted to give it a bit of promo in advance. It will NOT be over 4hrs long this time haha
It will be a conversation and I suppose a bit of a reunion with someone I haven't had any contact with for well over 15 years, so it should be fun and maybe some good debating too. I guess if you have any questions you would like to be answered, I am sure if you join the Scars and Guitars page and message the lovely man who is the mastermind behind this podcast, he can maybe assist :)
Daddy’s Not Coming Home, by Sarah Jezebel Deva 1 track album
So there seems to be a small rumble in the jungle .... As some of you may have seen Nagash over at Troll (Official) The kovenant has been posting on his music profile and hinting.... I am getting questions that I can not answer.... Will there or won't there be more after years of silence on the Kovenant side... Truth is, some of us are rooting for it... A Nexus Polaris Part 2? Well, we are all older, wiser, most of us are parents, priorities do change and somethings bring us back together. Some one and I guess many say that Nexus Polaris had all the right elements and you know what, it did! The album is perfect and it won a grammy! Whatever the future holds, I am not expecting it to include me, even though I did the Inferno Festival in Norway many years ago. I am so grateful for the memories, some a bit crap, but the experience I hold so close to me. I am grateful Nagash approached me on the COF tour (The R**e and Ruin of Europe) in 1997, I am grateful for being held in high esteem, but as I say.... things change. I do not expect anything. So until anything transpires, we hold tight and I invite you to support Nagash and Troll (Official) for the new music that has recently been produced and released.
Leave you all with this

Thank you to all who supported me on Bandcamp, I know times are hard, but I really do appreciate it when you buy a track or 2, so thank you loads....
Midian..... It's another anniversary. This really is one of my favourite sounding albums. The production is top notch, no one was turned up or down, it felt like a good team. I love everyone who played on this album, the line up was immense. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No...it's my floating head....

Firstly, thank you for the pre sales on the shirt at Embodiment Printing. The proceeds go to helping children. I am going to post what they have written in the site.

I think we can do a little better though on the pre sales :)... I do not get any money from the shirts, but the children benefit and you get to wear me on your chest... awww... And if you don't want to wear the shirt, but it and use me as target practice? Its almost Halloween......
So I found the original version of Daddy's Not Coming Home, as song I wrote when I was very young. I left home when I was 9 years old and I found my self in a place I didn't want to be, but I know that if I wasn't in that place, I never would have become "Sarah Jezebel Deva". Daddy's Not Coming Home is the first song I ever wrote and the ONLY song I wrote alone with a melody in my head. I have already told the story, but I sung the lyrics to my dear friend Suvi (Therion/Mortiis) when I got her involved with singing on The Smell Of Rain. After we did that album for Mortiis, I recorded Daddy for the first time ever in her home studio. I lost the song for many years, then found it and Martin Powell (Cradle of Filth / My Dying Bride ) re orchestrated the song for me to release on my first solo album (Which as you know, 50% absolutely dreadful). I've attached that track, not metal, but I know it touched a lot of people. I then lost the original again. I wrote the lyrics and melody in my bedroom when I was around 12 years old. Parts of it are about my mum and dad, but other parts are purely made up. I am proud of the song and will be forever, but I want to share the original with you. A Sign Of Sublime album, as you know, I got ripped off and lied to, never seen a penny and never will. You know I re released and re recorded the song A Sign Of Sublime with the help of many, including Ghul From Mayhem (Was also in Cradle of Filth), Lindsay Schoolcraft and Dave Pybus ... Yes all COF people. And Ken, who was on the original track and wrote also got screwed over, he re submitted his guitars. Dan Abela jumped back on board and the song was released, sitting in my band camp! I am extremely grateful to those who helped me with this and finally, I made a little bit of money to buy some coffee and that 15 slot toaster I had had my eye on for years.
So in 24hrs time, the original version of "Daddy's Not Coming Home", which I own the rights to (Just in case someone official is watching) will be up for pre sale in my SJD band camp. PLEASE consider picking up a copy. Its 1 pound... and you can pick up all 3 tracks in that band camp page for 2 pound 50p which is a massive saving of 1 million dollars... or something like that. As most will know, I did cover "Cities In Dust" with the amazing, most talented man https://linktr.ee/crisistheory Chris Twiest .... I would love you to check him out because his music is mind blowing and I know most of it hasn't even been released yet. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have had the chance to do Cities In Dust.
Lastly, to all of you who have listened to the Scars and Guitars chat..... WOW! In 2 days, over 2000 of you and others listened to over 4hrs of me... haha... You poor sods! I am over whelmed. I had some older COF members come to me and praise me to for what I said and I just didn't expect the response. So thank you. Support Andrew who runs the podcast because he has done some amazing work. There will always be haters, people who do not like hearing the truth or just think some of us speak lies, but I can assure you, everything that came out of my mouth was based on fact and my feelings, then and now...
Please check out Martins version of Daddy's Not Coming Home... when I heard this, it made me cry. What he did, just blew me away, but the version I am about to release is stripped down, raw and the original and I am proud and I do hope you will support me on this.

And...... Scars and Guitars release the interview today.... 4hrs.... so grab a bucket of coffee. I would like to say I will not regret being so open, I've not lied. These are my memories. I can't always be as truthful as I want to be, but this is because I know people f**k up and sometimes, some people do things to you and do not realise how much it can hurt, so some people deserve a break. Does that make sense? I am less angry than I was a year ago and although I won't forgive or forget, time to move on. This interview has helped me do that. I stumble occasionally when talking, because I am trying to think about what I am saying. I do not name some names, so I ask you not to assume. Anyway, add Scars and Guitars and please, if you can, buy a shirt with me on it ;)

I know a lot of people have been wanting me to do this and I have backed out many times. I know many want me to dish the dirt, prove people right about certain people, well its over 4hrs of your life gone if you listen to this and I can assure you, you may be very surprised at how positive it is. As I said, death has made me feel very differently lately... its made me think about who is truly responsible for some of the crap I dealt with musically. Other people have different stories, different experiences .... I was just session.... My story is very different. I haven't really held back either, but its not what some are hoping for. Some of my anger was also misplaced. So add Scars and Guitars and stay tuned....
P.s..... This covers ALL bands.... I've still had to hold back on bits because to be as honest as I wanted to, opens up many more cans of worms. But I can assure you, I have NEVER lied about stuff that's happened.
Rarely do I post about my private life online, not anymore. I also do, believe it or not try to keep most of my opinions to myself and try not to preach. I am likely going to turn the comments off for this one also... So just have a read.... Maybe some of you will see where I am coming from.
People leave and enter our life all the time. Some we choose to say goodbye to in our way, some times its mutual and some times its not. Some times we don't get a choice and we don't get to say goodbye. Some times the last words out of our mouths are harsh, some times they are not. Whatever we say, once they are spoken they can not be taken back. Some times we choose not to put things right and some times these people die and the ones left behind have a firm memory of the last words spoken. My husband and I and a few others lost someone on Friday in a motorbike accident and it's someone who was in our life for over 30 years. It's the sh*ttest feeling I can tell ya. Worse than we thought. However we all parted ways, this wasn't the way any of us expected. Many of us are left without words and there is no way now that anything could be put right even if we wanted to.
My point is, with out sounding like I am hosting a TV talk show, we get one shot at life. Some people we cut off, but we still care about them and some people we cut off and we know the door is closed forever. If you have ANY doubt that you want to re open that door, put things right.... DO IT! We are all losing people .... Some times doors should remain closed, but if there is a part of you that feels you can sort it out, (And don't feel bad if you can't) DO IT!
My son will be 9 soon. This was taken at his 1st Birthday party. It was a Star Wars Party... As you can see it's mid tantrum haha
The 3 men is my husband and his 2 best mates. Sadly the one on the right is gone now.
Don't put that call off, make the effort to see that person, send that text. You just don't know when its your time or theirs.
I have not promoted Bandcamp Friday in ages, so please, if you can, support it today.
Many people still asking about what I am doing.... Support Torn Between Two World, a project between Chris Rehn and I. Loved Angtoria? Then this is hopefully for you because Chris and I created Angtoria. Also Cities In Dust and A Sign Of Sublime is on my personal bandcamp. Links are up the top.
Thank you for continuing to support me :)

Where would any band be without your support? So I ask you to kindly support longtide on the last 2 shows they have in the UK on this poster. Like Pearl Jam? Bit of Nirvana? (My comparison) If you are Southwest based, please pop along to support them. If you can't, at least add them. I know all too well how hard it can be trying to get people to listen and you lot are brilliant, so give em a chance... innit! ;)
Thank you!
I want to say the most massive thank you to all those who are using Spotify and all other streaming sites. On Spotify alone, Torn Between Two Worlds has hit over 1,000,000 streams on Torn Between Two Worlds. For a project, I am over the moon and so touched that so many have given a damn about us. Please keep streaming. Keep sharing the music and keep enjoying it.
Many are still asking what I have been up to musically. Hit the Linktree button ;)
Its Bandcamp Friday in a few days, I hope many more of you can support Torn Between Two Worlds or the few songs I have on the SJD profile, including Cities In Dust... :)
Again, thank you... I never thought we would hit a million on one platform alone. So happy!
So we all remember Asteenu right? Dimmu Borgir..... Covenant (The Kovenant) Well I thought he was dead. Rumour was going around that he was. No one could find him, no one knew anything. It's been the most bizarre week. I informed a few of Jon Kennedys passing, people who I hadn't been in touch with for many years, I did a 4 and a half hour audio interview which you will all hear about Im sure at some point AND I had a long phone call with Asteenu. We haven't talked since 1998. We did the Covenant tour, we ended up back in Oslo, not a penny to our name and stranded. We went our separate ways and that's that. Many years have of course passed and we have done a lot of catching up, shared stories of music, memories and parenthood.
Asteenu is alive and well and can be found on instagram under the Lord Kaos name... his band... So please share and support him because he has many tricks up his sleeve for his future and a come back... So lets help him? # # #
https://www.youtube.com/
If you read the post below, you will now be aware that Jon Kennedy, the original singer of Hecate Enthroned and was once also in Cradle Of Filth playing bass has suddenly passed away. The death has come as a huge shock to many and of course his family. I am posting this in hope that some may have a few pennies to help fund the funeral. If you can not help, at least find 1 second to hit the share button. Many many thanks....
Jon Kennedy’s funeral, organized by Beth Doyle Hi everyone, as most of you know we unfortunately lost a fantastic man on the 25th September 2023 Jon… Beth Doyle needs your support for Jon Kennedy’s funeral
Heavy heart today and so many affected by this news. PLEASE do not say sorry for your loss, those words should be for his family, his very close friends and Hecate Enthroned (Past and Present)
Jon was such an amazing vocalist. I've made my views on him and the band (Past and Present) so well known over the years, baffled why so many are still yet to discover this band. I met Jon on one of my first trips to Colchester when I was 16, to be with COF. I did a post on instagram and now its come back to me, I was travelling with Nick to go and record. I would like to say it was Dusk, because that was my first ever recording with them before they split.
Jon was a lovely guy, passionate about music and although I didn't know him like others did, I am grateful for the memories and definitely grateful for the shows I saw them play in the early days. Many broken hearts yesterday and many more today. saddened I never got to see him again and only talk online.
Thank you for your fantastic voice, a voice that many aspired to sound like. Rest in peace our friend....
Hecate Enthroned - Beneath a December Twilight Artist: Hecate EnthronedTrack: 2. Beneath a December TwilightAlbum: The Slaughter of Innocence, A Requiem for The Mighty@Dissonance / No Survivors Ltd. 1997 ...
Over the next few days, I am going to be doing some posting to help others. I like helping others. People I have worked with who once meant something to me and still do, although I don't see them. I've had many people bend over backwards to help me do music again, something I never take for granted. Something happened today, it made me reach out to a few. I was very surprised to hear someone who has been absent from the scene for many many years is now making music again. Ben Ryan. I doubt many have forgotten his name, he wrote 3 of the best Cradle Of Filth albums ever... Of course yes, that's a matter of opinion, But Principle, Vempire and Dusk changed it all. The memories I have.... Not as many as he does though. Oh how young we all were haha
We all change, our tastes change, we mature... I LOVE this track, yes a different style, but so damn good to see this phenomenal writer/composer back, because he sent many shivers down my spin with his pieces of art on those albums.

Apologies for the silence, getting over tonsillitis and it's not been pleasant. Not much sleep, yet still having to work and do the normal stuff and I am tired to say the least.
Thank you to those who bought Cities In Dust on Bandcamp Friday. For those who don't do Bandcamp yet, remember you can also stream! Attached is the track, but get streaming if you can https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbspjLqEJNs
I've lots more to post, but I'm trying to recover before we go on holiday for the first time in 8 years and its time to just drink coffee, nag my husband a little less and spoil my son.
Hopefully soon, you can also go to Bandcamp and get a copy of the very first and very original version of Daddy's Not Coming Home. I found it and I had been looking for many years. I wrote the song when I was a young teen, I wrote the melody with the lyrics and one day whilst I was in the studio recording my vocals for The Smell Of Rain (Mortiis), Suvi, who you may remember from Therion with me, she jumped on the piano and played along to the track. We finally recorded it in Stockholm not long after. I thought I had lost this version and when I did get to release it, as many may remember, it was released on the first solo album and I was ripped off. Never saw a penny. So I've decided to release it as I wrote it and I own the rights. When its up for order, I will post, but I do hope you will grab a copy.
Still not replied or caught up with many people and again, I apologies.... I am getting there # # #

Turns out an absolutely massive band has covered this song also and its just been released... my fault for sitting on this song for so long, so check all the versions out... We do hope you love ours a little more though ... and its not as "Goth" as the original (Sorry for that... ish)
Thank you as always for being here and kindly pick up a copy and play it LOUD!!!!!

Thank you Chris T for all your work ....

Finally its being released...... Featuring 2 amazing musicians, Chris Twiest (Im not overly sure if he does twist or not), for whom this track never would have been possible for me to ruin ;) And the amazing Ricardo Amorim (Search his name... The track will be up for pre order and released Bandcamp Friday on https://sarahjezebeldeva.bandcamp.com and then digitally worldwide on all your favourite music sites.
Thank you for waiting so long to check the track out! And a massive shout out to the lovely deHuisvleermuis for this art/track cover. So very grateful!
It's been over 4 months since I last posted and I am very sorry for the lack of communication. I owe you a "Merry Christmas" and "Happy New Year" at least, So..... Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year! I have barely touched social media which I think some find hard to believe, I've not done any posts on Twitter or Instagram and I simply needed time out from it all. I've not replied to WhatsApp messages, inbox messages or emails.... again, I know some find that hard to believe and may take it as I just couldn't be bothered or I don't care, but I've had a lot going on in life.
Firstly in December my husband and I were on a day off from work and he got a very unexpected call that was a bit shocking that would affect our home life, without going into too much detail, I got straight on to the phone, made my husband sit in the car (With a window open) and I made calls and luckily within 24hrs the situation was sorted (Pending, but gave hope). We were lucky to have some good people around to help. Sorry it's vague. It didn't stop the worry, it did affect Christmas a little (because I seem to take on the worry so I can reassure others), but the outcome in January ended up being amazing, extremely positive and luck we never expected. In this case, every cloud has a silver lining. Then, it turned out we were moving home, again hard to explain, I was looking, loosely and then bam, it happened so fast and we found ourselves making a few adjustments, but overall the outcome was amazing, but fitting in a move around jobs, school, clubs and so on, well it was very hard and very stressful. We are still settling... unpacking.... then.... I hit 46 haha... I know a few sent messages, thank you. Very sorry again I haven't responded, I didn't make a big thing of it simply because I didn't have time nor the energy.
Lastly in January whilst everything else was going on, causing stress and happiness at the same time, I discovered a lump on the back of my female cats back leg. I thought maybe her and her brother had maybe been fighting and she had a little infection, but it turned out to be cancer. Obviously I have pet insurance for both, so I wasn't concerned about costs, I was just concerning about the biopsy results. The amount of people who would say "Its just an animal", they have absolutely no clue what life is about, because I would if I could, spend thousands to save her, get into debt and beg if I had to, because animals are way more giving than most of the humans a majority of us have come across. Luckily for Gretal, her cancer had not spread and was local only to her leg and that area. I didn't get the highest cover for the cats because they are indoor cats, which is a bit silly of me to think nothing would happen because they are indoor cats, I could have gone done the radiotherapy route, but not having access to a few thousand, I decided that amputation was the best option. They could have removed the lump, but it would have meant numerous skin grafts, cage time, lots of stress and many injection and the vet said the cancer will come back in a few years and also, the radiotherapy route can cause cancer to reappear, so yes, the horrible choice to have her leg off. It's been just over 2 weeks now and she amazes me, absolutely amazes me.
So it's been very hectic, busy and it's school holidays and my son is watching one of his many favourite YouTubers, so it's about time I said Hello and I hope you are all well.
I want to also mention the Turkey/Seria situation, which is close to me and close to some around me. Yes bad things happen every day, people are dying every day and a lot of us wished we would help, that we could save so many lives, but we can't. We only have so much money to donate if we can even afford to do that. For all those that were affected by the earth quake, especially those who are close to me, you are in my thoughts and have been since it happened.
Ending on a positive note...... Someone very close to me formed a band. He always had a love for music and finally he did what he always wanted to do. We all know you don't get far without the support of good people giving you a chance? This music is mellow... but has so much passion... no it's not black metal and they don't sing about corpses rotting under floorboards, but they are fantastic. Chilled.... PLEASE check out longtide and add them and if you like them, please spread the word....
Ok, for now.... over and out .... Be safe x
