Alabama Cougar?The top image is from one of our trail cameras, the middle image is a stock photo and the bottom image is from another one of our Cuddeback Digital cameras and is obviously a bobcat. Is the pic on top a cougar? The debate about whether Alabama has Cougars or not has been going on for years. Outdoor Alabama has been weighing in on the subject for many years in order to determine whether the Alabama cougar is myth or legend. The cats have been identified in surrounding states but never confirmed in this state, according to sources. Maybe they just do not like Al. or maybe they know that none of their friends live here so they do not cross state lines! After much debate, this picture will probably be deemed inconclusive and the discussion will continue. But isn't that half the fun?
