Today is National Margarita Day and in our house tonight Taco Tuesday. Take me back to Mexico! We had the best family holiday there back in 2018, travelling and eating our way around the Yucatan Peninsula.

From 11th Feb, double vaccinated passengers arriving into England will no longer be required to take a day 2 lateral flow test.

This comes just ahead of half term so is great news for families looking to get away over the break.

Today has been a day of reflection and contemplation. The past couple of weeks have been busy with lots of new enquiries and bookings and it has been absolutely wonderful to feel positive and excited about the world of travel again and to once again be doing what I love, sharing my knowledge and experience planning holidays and adventures for my clients.
It is almost 2 years to the day that my business started to suffer, as news of coronavirus began to emerge and what followed was catastrophic.
I now realise and reflect upon what I have been missing and I haven’t felt this enthusiastic and exhilarated about work in a long time. It reminded me of the excitement I felt when I first started my business and those words I posted on my first Insta post “To Travel is to Live.”
Today, those words mean more to me than ever and all those treasured memories of places around the world I have visited are even more precious than before.

More holiday planning today! I have been working on an Easter break for a family of 4 to the Maldives. With it’s blue seas, white sandy beaches and unforgettable sunsets the Maldives is another paradise destination popular not only with honeymooners but families alike. With so many resorts, it can be difficult to choose but there is the perfect island for everyone whether it is total R&R, spectacular diving or an island with more activities. I first visited the Maldives back in 1998 and then again 9 years later when I was pregnant with my second daughter. This is my eldest (now nearly 17) enjoying the warm crystal clear waters .

A busy Saturday here, just booked a summer holiday for another family of 5 to the beautiful island of Lefkada, staying a luxury island retreat located in the village of Nikiana.
