What’s beautiful about the way I’ve built my business, is how many amazing people I’ve met and actually become friends with!
was originally one of my bridal clients, who pretty much immediately became a great friend of mine! And we’ve stayed friends! 🥹💛
Fast forward a couple years and now she’s getting ready for her maternity photos!! OF COURSE I’m down to be apart of her special moment!!
It’s been really incredible building a company on MY terms and MY boundaries! Personally, I love becoming friends with my clients. 🥹💛

Hair AND makeup done be meee! I haven’t been asked to do prom hair and makeup in so long, and I can’t tell you how fun it was!! 🥹💛
Potentially an unpopular opinion: I actually enjoy and love doing teenager and college “kids” hair. I use pop culture slang, and I don’t think it’s annoying that they have new trends. 🤷🏼♀️
It’s actually a really fun dynamic of being able to be an older sister and fresh pair of ears for these girls/kids. It honestly makes me remember how much I used to confide into my hairstylist growing up. (And how much I needed her)
So my thought is why wouldn’t I choose to be the next gen hairstylist for these younger girls? Why wouldn’t I choose to hold space, and be a source of support AND fun? (Plussss the middle/high school and sorority tea is always PIPPING HOT 🤣)

I’m wishing you all a merry and bright holiday to you and your kin! 🥰🎄✨💕
Now that I’ve really found my own personal style with hair- I absolutely LIVE for creating soft, airy, and romantic hairstyles. It’s also a really great option for the girlies who “never do their hair or makeup,” you’ll still feel like yourself with this. 🥹💛
Modern sleek styles are great! However, I feel like you just can’t beat having styles that are more relaxed and soft. (Disclaimer- I will still style up a modern look for you, it’s just not my fav type of look 💛)
Sitting here getting my oil changed, and the law commercial I worked on this summer is finally playing on local television! 🙊🙌🏼
It’s a crazy surreal experience getting to see tangible footage on an actual TV of the work I’ve been apart of. 🥹💛
I have reached 300 followers! Thank you for your continued support. I could not have done it without each of you. 🙏🤗🎉

You know I had to hop on and create my own little fun with the launch of 💕💕
Which one is your favorite? Comment below! 💕💕
I’ve heard the phrase, “fake it ‘til you make it,” but what if we tried this radical idea of taking baby steps into believing that we actually can do something?
Putting ourselves out there can be really scary at times. It can leave you feeling “stupid” for trying new things and not always having them pan out. But if we never try moving differently, we’re never going to get a different outcome.
This audio-bite is so true, with confidence you never know if it’s actually real or not. So why not lean into the radical idea that you are more than allowed to take up the space you need/want? ESPECIALLY when it’s to grow and better yourself! I promise when you start leaning into this, your ENTIRE life will change.
When I first started doing reels do you think I was confident? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I felt STUPID, and people loved them despite that! I slowly embraced letting myself taking up that space, and now I actually believe in myself and the content I post. (And the results from that shift have been INSANE!)
I challenge you to move through feeling stupid, and to keep going. You can do it, you matter, and I’m proud of you. Comment some of your “stupid” moments! I’ll share mine!
When your Bride is down to let you create waves based on her hair type and density! 😭🙌🏼
Did you know there’s a lot that can go into a style outside of just your inspo photo? The way I work majorly shifts depending on your texture, curl and density! (Which isn’t a bad thing! I just feel like it’s not common knowledge.)
There really isn’t a one size fits all for Hollywood Waves or any hairstyle in general! One bride may need alllll the Got2BGlued in the world, where another bride just needs a little wax spray and light hairspray. Everyone’s needs are different!
If you’re a stylist reading this, try to experiment with different product for different hair types! You never know the fun things you can learn from it!
Are you someone who knows they will DEFINITELY be dancing/sweating it out on the dance floor?
Is this an outdoor wedding in the spring/summer? Are you the type that wants their hair out of their face, but still likes it down a bit for some drama? Are you super trendy and into fashion?
If you answered YES to any of these, this cute pony just might be for you!! I’ve been so excited that this has been trendy, and I think it’s just such a fun look to go for! 🙌🏼💕💕
PS- here’s a little styling tip: Did you know most redhead’s hood a lot of heat in there hair? Be conscious of that when you’re styling them out!
Having a hard time describing the style that you’re wanting? There are so many different words we can use to describe updos! Did you know that a textured updo can still be CLEAN and POLISHED? Did you know it can also be very messy, pulled apart or boho-y? (Believe it or not they start with very similar bases, you just pull apart A LOT more and use products that will rough up the hair better)
If you’re someone who likes styles to look very clean and polished, but you still want texture to create contrast in the style- this is the one for you!
CONTROVERSIAL OPINION: curly updos can be polished and clean just like any other hair type’s updo! (Your product usage is just going to be a tiny bit different!)
Did you know that not all curly styles have to be frizzy? Did you also know that they last just as long as a straight haired updo? (Sometimes they last even longer!) Leave your opinion in the comments!
Everyone has a different journey/path, and there’s nothing wrong with that! What isn’t cool, is pushing your sublimating beliefs on to someone else’s journey.
I’ve talked to quite a few stylists that want to expand into bridal or shoots/film, that are CONVINCED they will NEVER be able to leave the full service life. Which is so no true! (Unless that’s what you’re actively choosing/manifesting for yourself)
I’ve seen tons of artists who felt that way, made a conscious shift, and are now thriving as a bridal/shoot/film stylist! It IS possible, and I think it’s time we break out of this narrative! You have the power to create/change your own reality. (Also this Aquarius season has me in my full rebellious swing)
Are you wanting a full and textured bun without using extensions, but have hair on the medium-finer side? This is the look for you!
Extensions aren’t always necessary, we can use mesh (donut buns) in an updo to create the illusion of a full bun! It works especially well if you have darker hair! (Darker hair tends to cover up/hide mesh really well)
I get it no one likes to look dumb or be embarrassed! I absolutely haaate feeling that way, so believe me I understand! Healthy amounts of fear at times can be a good thing- they help us with things like not dying!
However, when we let those fears run rampant it can also hold us back from doing things that could be really incredible.
Did you know when I was fresh in the industry weddings terrrrified me? I was SO afraid that I’d look like I didn’t know what I was doing, and that brides would hate my work! But despite that fear, I practiced and practiced aaaand practiced. Flash forward, there’s no more jitters and people love my work! 🥹💕
The EXACT same thing can happen for you! You just have to take one baby step at a time. 💕💕💕
