Today is the 154th birthday of one of our national heroes, Dr. Jose P. Rizal. In his short life, he became a significant historical figure for his ideas, contributions, and sacrifice for our country beyond his time.
To celebrate his life and his works, the Malacañang declared June 19, 2015 a special non-working holiday in the province of Laguna, Rizal’s birthplace.
