Embarking on a Journey of HOPE! I'm excited to share my involvement with the Leadership HSSD program, an initiative sponsored and co-chaired by Howard-Suamico Education Foundation President Brian Stuelpner and Howard-Suamico School District Superintendent Damian LaCroix.

In a time where negativity often takes the spotlight, Superintendent LaCroix shared a refreshing perspective: "Hope is the belief that tomorrow is better than today." This simple yet profound thought is a reminder to embrace hope and actively work towards a brighter, better tomorrow.

Over the next nine months, I look forward to deepening my understanding of our school district's mission and strategic priorities and reexamining and exploring our vibrant school community.

Voters of the Village of Howard, don't forget to review the 2023 Public Safety Referendum before heading to the polls on Tuesday, April 4.

The referendum proposes to exceed the state's 2.0% tax levy increase limit for 2024 to fund additional police, fire, and rescue services.
