This page is dedicated to my NMRA Coyote Stock racing program. I'll be keeping the page up to date w
Had a house call from the suspension Dr. Tim Donathen today. What I thought was fairly close was actually pretty far out of whack on the racecar's bump-steer. Thanks again Timmy!
Let's see your wheelie pictures, I'll start π
An oops on the setup sometimes makes for a cool photo-op
Here are the matchups for eliminations. Look how tight that field is! I suspect a lot of races decided at the tree.
Storms came through and stopped action today, but we'll roll into elims tomorrow morning.

Had some good luck charms stop by the racetrack today. Thanks to Charity Nordyke and family, hope the good luck continues through the rest of eliminations on Sunday!
Race day tomorrow!
HSM Drag Racing Series: Presented By ASG Automotive with a revamped Extreme Radial Class!
Donβt miss out on a beautiful day and great day of racing at Muncie Dragway.
If you need to just make TNT passes we will be able to accommodate you.
In the lanes for first round of qualifying here at the NMRA US131 race. The car ran fairly well in testing, so hope we can put in a decent showing this weekend
I had a successful outing at this weekend's HSM Drag Racing Series: Presented by ASG Automotive . Got the chance to test a few things in CS trim and ended up taking home the win. Very cool seeing the variety of cars in the stick shift class. I'll definitely be back for more action! Thanks to Jeffrey Johnson for the assistance
Thanks to Drag Shot Media for the cool shot during qualifying this weekend
Race update: It's a crazy tight field with just 0.11 seconds separating #1 through #13 qualifiers! I ended up #12 out of 15 with a 9.79.
We also ran 1 round of eliminations tonight and I'm elated to say the monkey is off my back and got the round win!
Very tough competitor in round 2 tomorrow, but we're chipping away at it and will give it all I can.
Qualifying is underway here at the NMRA/NMCA St Louis event. With the help of some fellow racers, we finally discovered the source of a nagging issue that has been keeping the ET back for a while now. I went from a 9.92 in testing yesterday to a 9.80 in qualifying today, with no other changes. My datalog shows even more room for improvement, so the rest of qualifying should be interesting.
Whipped up a few of these recently. Any guesses what they're for?
Chances are, if you're following my racing page, you've all seen the pictures of the demolition of Atlanta Dragway. So, I won't subject you to more of the same, but I will share the highest of highs and the lowest of lows that I've had at that track.
From my first NMRA event win that came at that track in 2015, to my "didn't keep the shiny side up" crash last year, Atlanta was never exactly a boring trip.
We're here in St Louis for the NMRA/NMCA Superbowl race. All set up and ready to do battle with an ever increasingly tough field of racers. A few test hits today and into qualifying tomorrow. Stay tuned!
While the Florida race didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, at least I gave Evan Smith a wheelie worthy of a cover image for the Holley Motor Life race coverage
