Hello, my dear friends,

Love does not have a physical form. Whenever you are kind to others you create a stage for love to be presented.

When you are kind, you build up a reservoir of healing energy. Kindness sends good, healthy messages creating a good, healthy environment for your body and soul.

Kindness is Love Revealed (Born a Healer)

Many Blessings,

Hello, my dear friends,

For those who meditate but haven’t gotten much benefit i tell them this... You need to let go of everything in your meditation and make a promise to yourself to become the best person you can be.

For the good things you have done for others, you promise to continue to do these things for the rest of your life. For the negative things you have done, you feel true sorrow for doing them, forgive yourself, and promise not do these kinds of things anymore. Then you let go of them completely. They are gone forever.

When your conscious mind is filled with all the distractions of daily life it cuts you off from all the wonderful benefits you will receive from your consciousness. A good way to begin experiencing these benefits is by focusing on one beautiful thing.

For example, focus your thoughts on the sun. In your mind see the sun shining brightly in a perfect blue sky. Feel the wonderful warmth of the sun on your face. Feel the warmth spread throughout your body as you relax more deeply. Focus only on the sun’s beautiful rays beaming down on you.

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

Hello, my dear friends,

Today, I want to share with you self-care tip that will help strengthen and support your kidney energy, which is very beneficial at this time of the year

👉Foot Bathing

Fill a tub or bowl that is big enough to fit your feet in with very warm water, not so hot it will burn you but very warm.

Prepare a second tub or bowl with room temperature water but not cold.

Soak your feet in the warm water first for about 5 minutes.

Then put your feet in the room temperature water for about 3 minutes.

And then put your feet in the warm water for an additional 5 minutes.

Repeat this process at least 2 or 3 times, always ending with the warm water.

Soaking your feet in this way will really help to strengthen the kidney energy and can trigger the nerve system moving the energy up throughout your body.

From the Qi perspective it can help drive the energy to move up from the bottom of the feet to the top of the head even better.

End with warm no matter what.

Do it once a week.

Doing this every day is even better especially for people who have heart or diabetes issues or who have had a stroke.

**if you prefer to just soak your feet in warm water without changing from one temperature to the next that is just fine! You will still be strengthening your kidney energy which is good!

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

Hello, my dear friends,

“While technique is important in doing Qigong, what is more important is the way you feel about yourself and the world around you" (Born a Healer)

In fact the three most important elements in experiencing your perfect and complete healing through Qigong are living a life based on love, kindness, and forgiveness

Balance your Endocrine System with this Simple Self-Healing Technique!

HOW TO: Hold up your left hand and massage the sides of your index and ring fingers.

For high blood sugar, grasp the sides of your finger at the tip and massage or firmly stroke down to the base.

For low blood sugar, do just the opposite, massaging from base to tip.

While you are doing this, repeat a message from your heart; “All my channels are open; my blood sugar is down to normal,” or “All my channels are open, my blood sugar is up to normal.”

Repeat with your other hand. You may do both fingers or alternate between your index and ring finger, whichever feels best for you

HOW LONG: at least 2 minutes per hand
HOW OFTEN: As often as you’d like
BEST TIME: 5-9 AM & 5-9 PM

Diabetes is connected to your digestive system and to the balance of your endocrine system. Your index fingers have a direct relationship with your digestive system, and your ring fingers have the energy point that is directly connected to your endocrine system.

This massage help balance these channels and organ systems, helps prevent energy blockages in these areas, and helps strengthen your immune system.

On the Chinese calendar, November 7th marks a special date. November 7th is when winter energy begins, and then on December 6th, Winter Energy becomes dominant

As winter sets in, plants pull their energy inward, storing strength in their roots in preparation for spring. Just as nature conserves energy, this season calls us to focus on building our own reserves and generate warmth by strengthening our kidney energy, the core source of warmth, vitality, and longevity.

This season’s colder temperatures can easily deplete our energy, so simple yet powerful practices can help you stay warm from within and preserve your strength.

There are many simple things you can do for your physical body now that will help you strengthen and protect your kidney energy and vitality.

👉 Drink plenty of fluids, especially warm fluids, such as warm water or tea. In the Five Element theory, water is the element of winter.

👉Keep your back covered and warm whenever you go out in the cold.
A key way to nurture kidney energy is by giving special attention to your back and legs. The bladder channel, which runs along the back, contains many energy points that connect directly to the kidneys. When the back is exposed to cold, it can drain kidney energy, impacting not only the kidneys but also the lungs and liver.

To prevent energy loss, always keep your back and neck warmly covered when you’re outside in the cold. Layers that protect these areas help retain essential warmth and ensure your body’s energy flows smoothly and stays balance.

Hello, my dear friends,

Spring Forest Qigong healing movements embody a wisdom that will begin to teach you more deeply the more you practice them.

Right from the beginning, in Level 1, you learn that the body is full of energy that likes to flow in very specific ways – this is the way the body is designed.

When the energy moves the way, it is designed to, not only is the body not harmed, it thrives and can even have extra energy.

But when we express our body's posture in a way that does not allow inner energy to flow smoothly or obstructs the flow of outer energy – it could be as simple as sitting on your tailbone for eight hours, with your spine curved one way, your neck another, and your shoulders hunched, – we oppose what is natural.

This creates something like friction, with the result of pain, fatigue, and – over time – even sickness and shortening of life.

What is the solution?

A posture of the body that lets energy flow smoothly inside and out – like water over carefully laid stones. The same water that can grind a stone to nothing can also pass harmlessly over the same stone, differently placed. With understanding, that water can even be redirected and collected.

When you sit or stand erect you are helping to open the back channel along the spine, which is the governing channel in the body.

When you open your hand and spread your fingers a little, you are not only opening all the channels in your hand but you are also opening the lung channel. -Born a Healer

If you take the 100-day Qigong challenge and practice at the same time every day, the postures and movements themselves will begin to teach you about energy flow.

Bring clarity to your mind, prevent colds, and keep your sinuses open

HOW TO: Holding one hand as a cup, slightly bend your head forward, and gently pat (cup) the base of your head where your spine goes into your skull.

There are many energy points in this area affecting your eyes, speech, sinuses, hearing, mouth, and your entire brain.

Cupping this way helps bring clarity to your mind, prevents colds, and keeps your sinuses open.

Hello, my dear friends,

My students often ask me "What do you do with all the negative information that pours in daily through the news and through daily conversations with people?"

Newspapers and television carry a lot of negative information. However, they also cover good information. I listen to WCCO radio every morning when I’m driving to work or home. They have a segment called “Good Neighbor for the Day.” That is good news, so I focus on those things.

It’s a matter of your focus. First of all, the negativity of the situation is up to how you look at it. For instance, on the news you may see there is a bomb here and there is an accident there. It just reminds you this world is not that peaceful, and you need to send more love to these people. Breathe deeply and know these things are happening every day.

That’s why this world needs more peace and more love and more Qigong.

If you think that way, immediately you turn the negative energy into something positive and healing. You send a lot of love and healing.

People tend to focus more on the negative things that they fear deep in their hearts. If you let go of fear and focus on the good things you have, you actually gain more protection and more security.

If you constantly think about those negative things- the fears in your heart- your Qi will attract that kind of energy towards you, and it’s not healthy. Focus on the good things and smile, smile, smile!

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

Our Story

Understanding Spring Forest Qigong

"Spring Forest Qigong is going to revolutionize the manner in which we look at healing."
~Bill Manahan, M.D.,
University of Minnesota School of Medicine

Spring Forest Qigong is based on the simple yet profound understanding that everything in the universe is energy. Many people think of energy in a very limited way. They think of energy as being electricity or the gasoline that powers their car. Electricity and gasoline are indeed forms of energy, but everything in the universe is also a form of energy.
Qigong began and remains a science--the study of how the universe works at its most basic, energetic level.

It all started more than 5,000 years ago when Chinese scholars, studying the workings of the universe, first discovered and established the Eastern scientific principle that everything is energy.

Fast forward a few millennia to the early 20th Century, when a brilliant young physicist named Albert Einstein came to the same conclusion. Einstein established the Western, scientific principle that everything in the universe is based on dynamic relationships of energy. Again, everything is energy. As Einstein also recognized, energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but energy can be transformed.

The ancient Chinese scholars called this universal energy qi (pronounced "chee"). In China, the study and practice of transforming the energy (qi) to live a life of optimum health, wellness, and happiness came to be called qigong. (Qigong has many other facets as well, but it is the healing aspect we are focused on.)

For thousands of years the practice of qigong was a closely-guarded secret revealed only to a chosen few.

Even today, traditional qigong techniques can be very difficult to learn, requiring years of rigid, disciplined practice to develop proficiency. Traditional qigong masters still withhold the most powerful qigong techniques from all but a select few.

After years of dedicated study with some of the finest qigong masters in his native China, Qigong Master Chunyi Lin has taken away the mystery, rigid discipline, and difficulty.
In Spring Forest Qigong he has created a technique that is so simple anyone can learn it, yet it is very, very powerful.

Spring Forest Qigong is a revolutionary approach to the ancient Chinese teachings, revised and enhanced for the 21st Century.

A certified, international qigong master, Chunyi Lin broke from ancient traditions because of his strong conviction that "Qigong is such a powerful tool for healing, the whole world needs to know about it and benefit from it." Indeed, qigong has been called the most powerful healing technique the world has ever known.

"If you want to be healthy and live to 100, do Qigong."
~Dr. Mehmet Oz
