Sunshine hugs from a sunny cheshire!
~A change of scene is as good as a rest~
I feel very present this summer. I feel like my priorities are right. I feel like I’m letting go of things that only I need but don’t really need like reupholstering of yet another set of facebook market place find..
Life goes so fast. And to hear you childs thoughts for days after days is wonderful. We work intensly and then we set off but now we enter a very busy month and we will be here and keep on keeping them flowers growing for all our upcoming weddings! And all our florist weddings!
🌸
We will be at The Swan at Marbury for the farmers market on sunday. Will we see you there?
Hello!
There are quite a few new faces on here. I’m Sofie a swedish Farmer/Florist on the Cheshire/Shropshire border. We have sold flowers commercially to other florist for 7 years and grown them go us for 11. We grow our flowers in our Walked Garden and our 3 unheated glass houses and pavillion.
We also have a large garden with shrubs, rose gardens and woodlands.
My able sidekick Rebecca took this glamour shot at this weeks wedding at the neighbouring estate
We open our walled Garden this sat for our lovely little neigbour Vega. This will be one of the few times we do so while we restructure our beds this year.
Hope to see you then! X

To pull them, their beautiful long stems, the crunch. Ahh! We have a lovely time ahead off us.

HELLEBORES ARE HERE ENMASSE
I love them, the shape of them the colors and they tage ffont stage at an early stage of year! 💕
What is Love to you?
To me love is something warm that feels good. Its a healthy positive feeling. Its gestures, words, help, acknoledgement. Its kindness. Making food. Doing the school run. Helping eachother.
We have recieved lots of help from my today. We both dressed in red and I love that he is home with me. ❤️
Today I looked at some of the blossom and its coloring up!
It makes me want to create a huge urn of loveliness. Maybe I will just because. Such a sign of spring. Along with crocuses and all the snowdrop I feel a bit springlike. ❤️

Taking s break can be as good as a rest!
Trying to remind myself that I’m still one person I have not started seeding this year. The old Gal is still almost full of Autumn sown perennials and Hardy Annusls. Planting them out this week is high on the list.
I have finished an interior project, been away for 1/3 worked on lots snd lots of wedding proposals and just watering has been what I have had time for. Chomping at the bit is an under exageration. 🌸
Gorgeous Mantle vase and mounted etchings from
This weekend we had 3 wedding consultations!
It so makes you long for more flowers. Geums have my heart snd we grow her in a range of colors. 🌸
Many have drinksnameand all are gorgeous! ❤️
WE HAVE HAD LOTS OF ENQUIRIES this passed week.

FANCY DAFFS
Have my heart. Repeating for 75 years in my grandfathers childhood home in Sweden.
It is something special shen you cut the first you know spring is coming! 🌸
WINDROCK
I really wish I had pre pruned all our roses. In theses winds the long stems rock in the wind and it makes the roots break and come loose. On my list for this weekend to get a start.
If you are a florist, do you know that we grow over 200 roses for cutting sold wholesale?
Get in touch if you are interested in roses this summer and autumn. All will be grown under cover to ensure that are perfect. 🌸

JUST A LITTLE REMINDER
To check your stored tubers. We lifted ours ultra early this year as we lost many with the excessive rain. They where too wet when stored which rotted them.
The should be firm but not hard. We are soon starting of our furst ones for cuttings. Here we go again. Now is also a great time to order more tubers. Be very careful where you order from. There is an upswing in gall. Which is a decease that can be spread on. I use mainly. Never a problem. I’m not paid to say this. Happy sunday everyone!
I have been away! Abroad to celebrate a familly wedding!
December was a tough month when the whole familly got sick. We lept between hospitals and appointment so this was a big beautiful start to the new year! I’m longing for the old gal, more reading under a tree, more galopping on beaches but our fields will do and sunshine. Plenty more sunshine.
If you read one book this year. Make it “To speak for the trees” by Diana Beresford-Kroeger. One amazing story and a very simple way to stop climate change. One tree by the time.
A wonderful start to our big tree project
