Difficult to see progress-came up a bit short on one shade, and muddled through my inherited unmarked stash of thread ends. Voilà! A match!
Only project that got some work on my holiday… little purple project I am proud to be 80.91% done.
I was literally just going through my needle stash and determine what my favorite size was for my sharps. I’m *pretty sure* it’s 24. Literally 30+ years of stitching before I paid attention to the size 🤣
Work In Progress Bingo Board - I am still chewing through
This project needs 27,000 +\- stitches of for by let’s see what March 2024 holds for me 😁🧵🪡
I take part in Stitch A Longs throughout the year so I can see what everyone else is interested in... This group - each member designs a Bingo board full of their work in progress. Then an Admin calls two numbers every month and those are the projects you're supposed to work on in the coming month. For March its & which is not my pattern. Let's see how it goes!
Picture it…
4:18 am and the teeny dog starts barking…she wakes me up so I immediately hear water dripping. Take all the blankets and towels and buckets and bowls I can find… Nearly 12 hours later… I’ve got disaster recovery fans and dehys* cooking up my place. 3 floor flood… I’m in the middle of the sandwich. Thank the universe for little shorty Weiner on perimeter defense. Guess I’ll have to stitch? 🤷🏻♀️

January 2024-Snowdrop
I accomplished 6,450 stitches or roughly 8”x8” square. This was a professionally and personally stressful month, and we all made it through!
Love these shots
Let’s see how much of the Emir’s turban I can produce this weekend. Significant amount of confetti (small chunks of colors) stitching I can achieve…

🎉🎉Phenomenal progress on Page 3/32 this weekend.
This is what is LEFT after stitching ONE project for almost 4 years. It was originally over 1.7km worth of thread. There’s still a ways to go!!
I love this social media account- they capture their inspiration. It’s beautiful (and a bit funny)!!
The good news? Easy Breezy Beautiful Cover Squirrel was our Yarn Club Neutral Colour for Sept and is available!
The bad news? Yarn Club has been suspended until we can resolve the issue between the club and our Inventory program! Oct will unfortunately be skipped, hopefully November we will be back online!

Speechless 😶
Alison Mann West when someone says the process of art is clean-just remember progress isn’t clean.
I’m part of a few stitching Facebook groups. There’s one like Bingo, where we list our work in progress. The “WIPGO 2024” board gets 2 numbers called every month to work on projects. I’ll be working heavily on and puttering away at from Long Dog Samplers.
Determination & Achievememt are what drive me. 1.7+ km of thread. 🪡 By hand.
Pretend one could stitch ~4500 stitches in 10 days.
🎄🌟 Holiday break would be the ideal attempt. All the stitches are these 4 colors. All of the stitches are one 1 pattern page. All the flossaway bags are filled to the brim with the necessary colors. The puppies would certainly enjoy this much couch time with me. Hmmmmm… 🪡🧵

I can’t believe how much I accomplished in Nov
4,150 Stitches in November 2023
Needed a strong weekend push to help me feel like I’m getting traction on this project. Super 😁
When your dog is on pigeon patrol, making sure that everybody stays out of their yard.
Tried to capture under LED how rich and glossy this navy blue is to work with…there’s about 6 greens in this 40x40 square here, and I am just in bliss stitching with my babies.
Looking at June, one could conclude the chaos my days have been, and very quickly excuse my paltry 990 stitches in the month. I did, however, my level best. For that I will press on… July is here. A new month to accomplish 🇨🇦❤️🪡
Lots of meditation and concentration on the today. Page 23 is proving to have larger blocks of color (less confetti details).
