Schultz Airshows is gearing up for a busy end of August 2022 with not one but THREE events throughout the United States. Our first stop is the Meet AC Atlantic City Airshow in Atlantic City, NJ on Wednesday 24 August with the USAF Thunderbirds, US Army Golden Knights, and the Rhino Demo Team highlighting an over four hour long show over the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk with military and civilian flyovers and some of the best civilian aerobatics in North America. Our tour continues to Southern Texas as we kick off the inaugural Roar by the Shore Air & Space Expo in South Padre Island, TX on 27-28 August, featuring the F-22 Raptor Demo Team, the West Coast Rhino Demo, Polaris Dawn, Randy Ball, and much more. Finally, Schultz Airshows returns to the New Garden Flying Field on Tuesday 30 August for an evening and night of airshow flying featuring Jason Flood, Kevin Russo, Skydive Cross Keys, Matt Younkin’s Twin Beech, and much more. We hope to see you at one or more of these shows!

“Our flight tonight was expertly piloted by First Officer Natalie Stromgren who had just completed her final flight for her full pilot certification. While we waited to deplane, I could not help but look up: 'How long does it take to become a pilot?' No surprise, becoming a pilot is no easy feat to reach a milestone like Natalie did tonight.

How many female pilots are there? In 2022, only ~9% of all pilots are women. As a little girl, I dreamed of a career in mission control. In the end, I did not have the stomach for flight, but would that have been different if I had seen more women in the field? Surely there were many other little girls who needed to see women in the field to feel confident it was possible for them.

Last summer, my then 6-year-old daughter asked me if girls could be pilots. Of course, I told her yes. Tonight, I came home with a story and pictures to prove it.
