On the evening of Wednesday, December 9th the Fresno Unified School District Board of Education will discuss and decide the matter of changing the Fresno High Mascot. Sad news gang.... Our friend Susan Gomes Neeley is in the hospital. She passed out at work on Monday. They found her lying on the floor. In the loo. They transported her in an ambulance and she's been there ever since. I tallked to her last night and she told me she has ovarian cancer. They will be starting treatment soon. She is at Community downtown, room 204 in case anyone would like to call, visit, send her a card or a dollar tree balloon. So that the scoop gang!!! Pray for our friend. (via Norma Francis Pretzer)

Dear friends and family of Patty,
Thank you so much for the kind words and birthday wishes over the last few days. As some of you know, she passed away the morning of August 27th from heart failure. As she requested, we are cremating her remains. There will be a small memorial service in Fresno when she is placed to rest next to her mother at Belmont Memorial. We will announce the time and location when we know.

For my mom, her friends and family were everything. She loved each person who came into her life equally and with fervor.

I want to thank each of you for the light and laughs you brought into her life, whether it was for a short time, or a lifetime. She loved you all very much.

This annual event is a great way to kick off the season and get into a festive holiday spirit! All proceeds benefit Fresno High Neighborhood Projects with a large portion of the funds directly affecting the students of Fresno High School.

Please be in prayer, especially us Fresno High Alums, for our classmate, Ricky Biggs. He was hit by a car a few days ago and has major injuries and is in a coma. He was unknown for a couple days in the ER because he had no ID on him. He has had a rough life, but has been doing much better the last few years. He may not have much, but he has us...He is scheduled for Wednesday (today). He is in ICU at Community.
