SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.

She hated everyone except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her.

She told her boyfriend, " If I could see the world, I'd marry you".
One day someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked her, " Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?"

The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at him for the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying; " Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine."

This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a very few remember what our life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Today before you say an unkind word -Think of someone who cant speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they are barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember that not one of us is without sin and we all answer to one MAKER.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive.

Father, forgive us when we complain. Help us to speak Loving kind positive words that uplifts, encourages one another. Let us Pray and Love for each Other!

God knows my heart and he knows I hope for good things in the lives of his believers. And I hope for those that arent believers to know him soon for the good of all mankind, and peace on this earth. Evil and wickedness should not be prospering. That is not good for anyone. Young people are learning it's okay to live opposite of how God says. You've got Grandchildren that will be affected by that. You that are doing the evil might not be affected in the flesh. But you will be affected eternally in hell with satan. And your loved ones on this earth will be affected by the evil and wickedness that has been allowed to prosper. It is my hope all take the time to read the New Testament King James Version and Holy Scripture about Jesus and the words written in red.Those are Jesus words.

Today so many things run through my mind. Things I wish I could do one more time with my parents but they are gone now, we take so much for granted you never know when you say see you later it may be the last time,cherish each moment with all your loved ones because tomorrow may not come,get your heart right with the lord it could be your last chance

Tonight I pray for the momma who feels left out. Lord, she may feel left out of friendships or family or church relationships. She may feel isolated because of her personality or her anxiety or her physical condition. But Lord, we are created to be connected to our community and our family. We were created to be a part of life that is bigger than ourselves. I pray tonight that You help this momma find her place at the table. I welcome her to this community of praying mommas but we ask for local friendships for each one. I ask in Jesus's name, Amen.

Sometimes in life someone from our past gives us hope that we never would have thought about! Don’t ever give up! God has a plan!!

Jesus said in John 14:15 If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands. Our love for Christ is revealed through our obedience to His Word. How much do you love Him?

"This is good. I'll never look at my hands the same! Grandpa, some ninety plus years, sat feebly on the patio bench. He didn't move, just sat with his head down staring at his hands. When I sat down beside him he didn't acknowledge my presence and the longer I sat, I wondered if he was OK. Finally, not really wanting to disturb him but wanting to check on him at the same time, I asked him if he was OK.

He raised his head and looked at me and smiled. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for asking," he said in a clear strong voice. "I didn't mean to disturb you, Grandpa, but you were just sitting here staring at your hands and I wanted to make sure you were OK," I explained to him. "Have you ever looked at your hands," he asked. "I mean really looked at your hands?" I slowly opened my hands and stared down at them. I turned them over, palms up and then palms down. No, I guess I had never really looked at my hands as I tried to figure out the point he was making.

Grandpa smiled and related this story: "Stop and think for a moment about the hands you have, how they have served you well throughout your years. These hands, though wrinkled, shriveled, and weak have been the tools I have used all my life to reach out and grab and embrace life. They put food in my mouth and clothes on my back.

As a child my mother taught me to fold them in prayer. They tied my shoes and pulled on my boots. They have been dirty, scraped and raw, swollen and bent. They were uneasy and clumsy when I tried to hold my newborn son. Decorated with my wedding band they showed the world that I was married and loved someone special. They trembled and shook when I buried my parents and spouse and walked my daughter down the aisle. They have covered my face, combed my hair, and washed and cleansed the rest of my body. They have been sticky and wet, bent and broken, dried and raw. And to this day, when not much of anything else of me works real well, these hands hold me up, lay me down, and again continue to fold in prayer.

These hands are the mark of where I've been and the ruggedness of my life. But more importantly it will be these hands that God will reach out and take when he leads me home. And with my hands He will lift me to His side and there I will use these hands to touch the face of Christ." I will never look at my hands the same again. But I remember God reached out and took my grandpa's hands and led him home. When my hands are hurt or sore I think of Grandpa.

I know he has been stroked and caressed and held by the hands of God. I, too, want to touch the face of God and feel His hands upon my face. When you receive this, say a prayer for the person who sent it to you and watch God's answer to prayer work in your life.

Let's continue praying for one another Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend will bless you both. Passing this on to one not considered a friend is something Christ would have done."

Ya know for about a week now I been so excited just like you would be going on a trip for Vacation... Jesus may not come tomorrow or in the next few weeks, months or years "ONLY GOD" knows.. But I've have felt so excited "WHAT IF" Jesus came tomorrow? I have dreamed about what will I be doing tomorrow in Heaven, and just thinking today I would of never known I'd be in Heaven tomorrow night.... It makes me cry for joy just think about it... The sad thing is... who wont be there??... and who will NEVER be there it will be to late. Thats why I don't care how stupid I may look telling people about Jesus coming I don't wont no one left behind. I know "KINDA" how Jesus feels.. You love everyone so much & you "TRY" to warn people what's ahead & time is running out don't wait it will be to late even Jesus don't know when he's coming to get us. But some just wont listen & it breaks my heart I MEAN "REALLY" BREAKS MY HEART, Even when someone makes fun of me. Now I know why Jesus said on the cross " FATHER FORGIVE THEM THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO"... People don't REALLY know whats ahead only Christians understands and even we don't know what all is coming but we do know Jesus is coming & there "IS" a HEAVEN AND A HELL.... God said so... thousands of years ago.. I just want to go home bottom line is I'M READY GOD WHEN YOU ARE.....

Speaking out loud to your problems may sound strange to you, but God instructed us to in Mark 11:22-23. He said to speak to the mountain. The mountain represents any problem or adversity in your life. You can change your circumstances by speaking to them.

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Rev. 12:10–11)

I SPEAK the WORD!!! I do not fear what man can do. I have One that is over ALL!

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!” For He will save you from the trap of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions, And under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall. You will not be afraid of the terror of night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Nor of the destruction (sudden death) that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But danger will not come near you. You will only [be a spectator as you] look on with your eyes And witness the [divine] repayment of the wicked [as you watch safely from the shelter of the Most High]. Because you have made the LORD, [who is] my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will command His angels in regard to you, To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They will lift you up in their hands, So that you do not [even] strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and cobra; The young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. “Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him; I will set him [securely] on high, because he knows My name [he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never]. “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. “With a long life I will satisfy him And I will let him see My salvation.””

So many folks are wanting a change in their lives, health, prosperity, children, jobs, marriages, wanting peace, happiness, restoration in some area, etc...In order to have change, we must be willing to make a change! We must first line up with what God's Word says for us to do and live by in order for your situation to change. See, God cannot bless disobedience or sin but He can bless obedience to His Word! That may take us making some changes that go against our flesh in order to feed our spirit and line with God in His obedience that brings blessing and not cursing! God does not bring cursing on us...WE DO through disobedience to His Word. So if we want True change in our lives...it must be more than tongue talk...it must be put into ACTION! Get into God's Word, see what He says, speak His Word only, live by His Word only, line your life up to His Word only, if it doesn't please Him...Get rid of it!!!! Make the change to receive the change of blessings upon your life! He wants to open the windows of heaven up and pour EVERYTHING He has for you out upon you but we tie His hands through disobedience!!! What we sow is exactly what we reap! If we are sowing in disobedience....cursing will come! If we are sowing in obedience....God's blessing will be poured out!!!
