Marin Custom Metal Works

Top of the new TJM Hollow Short Scale is all glued up and mostly shaped and sanded!! Working on the finish now. Testing stains on the scraps of ash from the top and scraps of Spanish Cedar body wood. The neck is dark Roasted Maple that I intended for another (darker) body that didn’t work out.

My good friend Griffe R Griffiths, showed me some stuff to get me started doing repousse, the art of "raising" metal. It's really fun!!!
