Girls Arise Uganda
We empower girls and women in Tororo, Uganda stay in school because they have access to reusable sanitary pads & menstrual education.
πβ¨ Exciting News Alert! β¨π
On Friday, February 16th, 2024, Girls Arise Uganda had the privilege of supporting the distribution of reusable pads to 60 amazing girls at Nawandala Primary School. π These young ladies, who are currently in P7, are gearing up for their national exams, and we are thrilled to be able to make their journey a little easier by providing this essential support.
The testimonials we heard from these girls were both heart-wrenching and inspiring. Despite facing numerous challenges, it's heartening to know that they won't have to worry about missing school due to lack of access to menstrual hygiene products for an entire year. πͺπ©Έ This is a significant step forward in ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to pursue her education without barriers.
We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these young girls, and we couldn't have done it without the support of our amazing community. Together, we are empowering girls to rise above challenges and reach for their dreams! πΈπ«
