C'est La Door
The sonic recreation of an identity crisis. Listen to my new EP on Spotify here: https://open.spot
Hello - it's been a while.
After a few years focusing my musical attention elsewhere with Indigo Riot and producing for other artists, I'm very happy to tell you that there are new C'est La Door songs.
THE DAY IT ALL CAME DOWN // A THOUSAND FLOWERS
A double single of two very different songs about two very different things. Both are out now on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal etc for you to enjoy.
It's good to be back.

Something New.
One of the most limiting factors when you’re in a band or start publishing music is being pigeon-holed, whether you do that to yourself or it’s imposed on you by what your listeners expect to hear. After making music you’d fairly comfortably place within the realms of punk-rock for the last seven years of my life, it was time for something new.
C’est La Door is that something new.
It is the product of a frustrating identity crisis.
One minute you’re listening to the sonic recreation of a hangover, only to be remedied the next by the aural nectar of 21st century flower power.
Influence was drawn in equal measures from The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Oasis, all the way to The Weeknd, Enter Shikari and Bring Me The Horizon among many, many others.
The result is an extremely long winded metaphor that, sometimes, things don’t need to make sense.
