Kiara graduated with a Bachelor of Science, in Integrated Marketing Communication in 2017. While she was at Winthrop, she studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland. Kiara has a three-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel whose name is Lucky. Some of her favorite activities are reading, going to brunch, visiting the beach and traveling. I wrapped up last week with a great meeting with Board of Trustees leadership Glenn McCall, chair, and Kathy Bigham, vice chair. We enjoyed talking about how excited we all are for the beginning of the academic year.

Today, our local gathered at Coastal Coffee Roasters to learn about how they source, roast and blend their coffees and to develop our own signature blends!

The information provided was fascinating, and we left with TWO Winthrop blends—

Strong, delicate flavor, hints of chocolate and tropical wood, finishing with a mild, smokey, nutty finish. (If ordering by the cup, ask for Carolina Morning.)

Bold Garnet & Gold—
