The Run for Our Sons 5K is this Saturday at Patton. Consider joining Team Patton Hawks. We are hoping to see as many Patton athletes out there on Saturday to support Elliott and Henry!

Patton MS Softball 2019 - Store Deadline for orders is Friday, April 5th. Orders will be delivered to school approximately 2 weeks after the store closes.

Great start, Hawks! Both team won games against Stetson today. 8th grade came out on top, 8-4 while 7th grade won 11-4.

Today, the 7th grade softball team won their game against Octorara by a score of 21-0. Every player scored at least one run. Everyone contributed to the win! Great job girls! Next game is Thursday at Stetson. The 8th grade team opens the season at home on Thursday against Stetson.

Tryouts for 7th grade pitchers and catchers only will take place this Thursday, March 7 after school until 3:45 in the Rock Wall gym. If you plan to come to this tryout, please let Miss Faccenda know by email or see her in Room 107.

Tryouts for all 8th grade players will be held on March 11 and 12. Tryouts for all 7th grade players will be held March 13, 14 and 15.

Listen to HawkTV and check the website for updates. Be prepared each day to go either outside (dress for the cold!) or inside (will need sneakers)

Tryouts begin the week of March 4 (weather permitting) but stayed tuned and listen to announcements as we get closer to this week. Tryouts will run from 2:50 PM until 4:30 pm each day. You must register on FamilyID before attending tryouts. See you then!

Hello all,

I hope this email finds you well. I know that I have talked with the girls about it before, but I finally have everything worked out with the Athletic Director. In order to keep our athletes safe and in the best shape possible, I believe it necessary to offer them a strength and conditioning program throughout the summer. I will be running this 3 days a week. Mondays and Thursdays from 12-1 and Wednesday from 9-10. It is absolutely NOT mandatory for anyone to be there. However, I do think it will help each individual, even if they play other sports. I will teach them all proper technique in order to avoid injury. I know that I do not have everyone's email address so please forward this to anyone who did not receive this email, or any rising freshman that you know of who would like to play this season.

Patton softball lost a touch contest to Kennett last Friday, 7-4. Jessica Heimberger led the Hawks with two hits and two runs scored and Sydney Horan tripled. Lucy Brucker made an outstanding running catch in right field and is a "web gem" nominee for April!

The Hawks bounced back today and defeated Fugett, 14-1. Catherine Clisham was on base four times and scored four times, Lucy Brucker had two doubles and scored twice. The 7th grade Hawks face Downingtown at home on Wednesday.

A seven-RBI Day For Catherine Clisham lead Patton 8th grade softball over Pierce Middle School 19-3 on Tuesday. Clisham drove in runs on a triple in the first, a double in the second, a ground out in the third, a single in the fifth, and a triple in the fifth. In the fifth inning, Patton scored on a double by Sydney Horan, a single by McCormick, a groundout by Kylie Harlan, a single by Jessica Heimberger, a triple by Clisham, and a single by Horan. Dani Panati and Becca Borse scored runs for the Hawks. Horan earned the win going five innings, striking out nine, and walking zero. Patton collected 14 hits. Heimberger, Horan, Clisham, and McCormick each collected multiple hits and the Hawks didn't commit a single error in the field. !

Patton softball had a big win over South Brandywine yesterday to improve it's record to 2-0. The girls beat the visitors 9 to 5. Becca Boorse and Sydney Horan combined for the win, with Becca striking out six batters in 5 innings and Sydney closing the game striking out four. Sydney also had a three-run triple for the Hawks. Dani Panati had three hits and scored twice and Izzy Jones had a 2-RBI single. The Hawks face Lionville at home on Wednesday!

Rain, rain go away. No game today. And no practice either :-(
