We look forward to a very special gathering tomorrow night in Mike Murts, where we will honour the generosity of Sean's friends and family who contributed and supported this wonderful tribute concert that we held on May 5th of this year. I am almost afraid to post this as I know that I will leave someone out .. so please consider this a general post that we are contemplating and thinking on, so we can express our true gratitude in full. We would sincerely like to thank all the musicians who came to this years Roots for without you there is no point in doing this. To all the local musicians, young and not so young🤪Thank you very much .
We would like to give a big clap and Buala Bos to everyone who gave of their time and talent and indeed thank all of Sean's family and friends who allowed us the privilege of having this wonderful tribute night for him. Thank You Laoise for your help especially, as we could not have managed this without all your work.
To the people of Cahersiveen who sponsored us and supported us and really got behind us this year, ( See list on site which is still being added to as people come on board )thank you all so very much. Cahersiveen Mountain Roots Music Award winning Irish group Two Time Polka play a fiery mixture of Cajun, Bluegrass and rock ’n roll music. They are not unknown to spice up their live performances with flavours such as Argentinian tangos, Brazilian and Puerto Rican dance tunes.
