This is the book that I referenced on the show. Unfortunately, it's out of print, but worth looking out for and a must if you have an interest in Philadelphia soul music.

Born in Jamaica but raised in Philadelphia, Thom Bell, who passed away on December 22 of last year, was a singer, songwriter, record producer, arranger, classically trained pianist and composer. Along with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, he was pivotal in creating the sound of Philadelphia soul in the 1970s. He found success as a producer and songwriter for the Delfonics, Stylistics, Spinners and many others. On Mayhem 20 from 9pm to midnight, Zero Gravity traces his recorded career with rare tracks and the hits that made him a legend in soul music.
