Albie is now looking for his Furever home. He didn't have a great start to life and he's still learning how to be a dog. He was kept in a small space so had no exposure to the world. He needs an Adult only home with a strong owner that is prepared to help him understand the world and continue his training. He's a loving boy that loves a cuddle but he can get boisterous and needs a dominant owner to keep him in check. He's only 9 months old so with time and effort he'll be an amazing dog. He has been neutered and spent 2 weeks in rehabilitation with a behaviourist. Albie is currently living with 3 dogs and is dog friendly. He may benefit from a resident dog but equally his training will thrive more as an only dog. If you think you can give Albie a home please complete an adoption form

Spud was picked up as a stray, and no owner came forward to claim him. He is currently in foster, now neutered and vaccinated and ready for a forever home.
Spud will need a firm owner as he's not been very well socialised around other dogs. He can be reactive towards other dogs when on his lead, (bouncing about and barking,) so will need ongoing lead training.
Please complete the online application form on our website if you are interested in giving Spud a forever home.
Please Note- Part of his adoption fee will be used to pay for further professional training for him with his new owner.

If you're looking for something to do this Saturday please come and pay us a visit. This event is to raise money for Suki's Canine Rescue Crew and another of their chosen rescues. It would be amazing to see lots of our rescue dogs. Fundraising for the rescue is more important than ever as we have been hit so hard with vet bills lately.

An amazing event set up to help raise funds for the rescue. Will be a great day if you can make it to support us and help raise much needed funds for the dogs. Would be great to see lots of our rescue dogs there πŸ’œ

Rosie is a gorgeous 7yr old King Charles Cavalier cross Staffordshire Bull terrier.
She has been in foster with us for quite a while, but sadly her foster Mums has been taken seriously ill thus soon requiring a lot of ongoing treatment which is going to make her really nauseous and tired :-(
Rosie is now needing to find a forever home, where she can settle for the rest of her life.
She is a fantastic dog, walks well on her lead, loves playing with her ball, and being around her humans. She does have separation anxiety so a home where she's rarely left would be best suited for her.
She loves to cuddle up with you and get belly rubs, and is great with other dogs and cats.
Please complete our online application form if you can give Rosie a secure forever home

Pur little Fella Walter is loving all his outings with his fosters. He's been to many new places and meet lots of new people, who all adore him.
He's been cat tested, initially ok with them when he first went into foster, but now he's settled into the foster home, he has started to chase them so they're now all kept separated.
He is still looking for his forever home so if you are looking for a cute, cuddly lapdog, who loves being with his humans, Walter is happy to oblige.

Today, we had two beautiful dogs come into emergency temporary foster. Their family had to go into temporary accommodation, and sadly, dogs are not allowed.
As we have just just formed a special partnership with 'The Dog Lounge' in Coventry, they offered to groom Densil and Pippa for us today free of charge πŸ’• and what an absolutely fantastic result.. both dogs look and smell amazing.
We are so honored that the Proprietor Natasha and her assistant Tyler chose our rescue to show off their dog grooming skills with our dogs in rescue.
A Massive Thank You goes out to both of them for their time and dedication and at such short notice πŸ‘ πŸ‘
THANK YOU LOVELY LADIES πŸ˜˜πŸ’žπŸ’•

Albie needs a new foster/forever home ASAP.

He came into rescue as an emergency a couple of weeks ago and went into rehab so he could decompress and have daily training sessions with lead walking and getting used to the outside world.
Albie is pretty good on the lead now and has not been reactive towards any other animals when walking, but he will need continuous training with this and a confident owner. He's got no recall skills at the moment so will need to stay on the lead. He can be really affectionate when he settles down, but he can also be very playful and boisterous if not corrected straight away (ie he tries to hump and mouth at you.) He has been neutered now so hopefully this will start to calm him down. Albie loves a chew toy, so this can be used as a distraction. He sleeps well in his crate and is house trained.
Albie needs a confident owner, who can guide him away from unwanted behaviours and teach him what behaviours are expected from him.
We need to find somewhere for him ASAP. He is in temporary emergency foster but cannot stay there much longer.
The last thing we want for Albie is to put him in kennels. He has made such good progress, and deserves a chance.
Please help us find a foster or forever home for him πŸ™

Walter is a lil pupsta.. he loves to be around you and do whatever it is you are doing. He is great with dogs his size and plays great with the resident dog. Walter walks beautiful on the lead and is a pleasure to go on walks with. He meets all dogs and humans in a friendly manner. Good with children, lets them stroke him and seems to enjoy the company of calm dog savvy children.
He is clean in the house but has previously scented in a new environment.
He will whine if he is in another room and can’t see you, but is more settled if there in another dog with him, (but he prefers human company).
Walter is an all round good dog, you can touch him anywhere and he just loves the attention, eats well, doesn’t play with toys at the minute prefers humans or dogs to play with. Loves new people once he knows they are a friend. He would love someone he can sit on the sofa with and watch tv, go for walks with and sleep on their bed or have a bed in their room, he would make someone an excellent companion/best buddy.
Walter is being vaccinated this week and booked in to be neutered the following week. He has been flea/worm treated and now ready for his forever home.
Please complete the online application form on our website if you can give this gorgeous little fella a forever home.

Cookie is settlings down really well in her foster home. She is a lovely friendly girl, who enjoys fuss and attention. She doesn't really like to share her toys with the other dogs in the home and can be a bit grumpy if they try to take toys off her. But if they leave her alone with her toys, she's fine to be in the same room and she will play by herself just fine. She loves to play with other dogs after she has got to know them, although she can be a little bit nervous to begin with.
Cookie has met cats on a walk, and shows interest in them. But displays nothing negative. She hasn't however come up close with one. From what her foster Mum has seen of her so far, she said she would imagine Cookie would be fine to live with a dog savvy cat, that wouldn't just run away as she would probably chase it. If the cat stood it's ground, she think Cookie would give it a wide berth.
Cookie has been around children from ages 5 to 11yrs old. She is fantastic with them, but she does get a little bit mouthy/jumpy and excitable when the child starts to run around and play. (Like a puppy would.) I think this could be easily sorted in the right home, that has experience of puppy behaviour and how to correct it.
Cookie walks lovely on a lead, unless other dogs are running about off lead and then she pulls to be with them. She is having recall training with her foster Mum, which is going really well.
Cookie loves people, and just wants attention tion from anyone she meets.
She is a bundle of energy and would need to be in a fairly active home as she is on the go most of the time.
Cookie is crate trained and will cry for a couple of minutes when left, but then soon settles (unless she hears/sees you).
Cookie is now pretty much fully house trained, and is being taken out to toilet every 2 hours when at home. This is being increased gradually.
She absolutely loves food which is making training easier, and she needs lots of toys πŸ˜…
If you are interested in giving Cookie a forever home, please complete the online application form on our website.

Willow is a beautiful 14 month old female Mastiff looking for her forever home. She currently lives with the other 2 male Mastiffs (also available and on our page for rehoming).
Willow is also super friendly, and the most confident of them all. She is super cuddly and likes to lean in for a fuss. She has a smashing temperament, great with people and others dogs.
Due to her size and young age, we will only allow her to be homed with children in the home who are age 10 years +
If you ate interested on giving this gorgeous girl a forever home please complete the online application form on our website.

Bolt. 14 month old Mastiff needs a forever home.
Bolt is the smallest of the 3 Mastiffs looking for new homes.
He is such a sweet boy, who loves to give kisses and get a good fuss. He walks well on a loose lead - has been attacked by a staffie on a walk so will go behind the person walking if he sees another dog.
He knows basic commands and loves to please.
Due to his size and young age, any children living in the home would need to be 10 years +
He assessor fell in love with him and states, Bolt is a small boy for a Mastiff - more large Rottie size - he is such a lovely boy, he has a fab temperament, and loved a good fuss.
If you are interested in giving Bolt a forever home, please complete the online application form on our website.

Pablo is a gorgeous 14 month old Mastiff looking for a forever home. He is a very friendly boy after about 20 seconds of meeting you, loving a fuss and attention. Pablo has clearly been well looked after & treated well, reason for rehoming will be disclosed to any potential adopters.
There are no Children in home but we are told he's fine with visiting children who are 7 years plus. Due to his size and young age, he might be too much for children under 10yrs old.
If you are interested in giving this gorgeous boy a forever home, please complete the online application form on our website.

Lovely update on Dave, who was adopted last month πŸ₯°
He's loving his new life and enjoys spending time in his garden and going out for walks. Such a big soft cuddle monster ❀️

Received a lovely update today of Lulu, who was adopted from us around 12 years ago πŸ’

Shani-le, her owner, tells us Lulu is 13 years old today and hit her pilot officer award at Flyball.. and still going strong. She is an absolutely amazing dog πŸ₯° and goes on to say...
"Thank you for letting me adopt her,"

In all honesty, we couldn't have found a better home for the beautiful Lulu. She has a fantastic life and is living it to the full... So thank you, Shani-le, for giving her such a wonderful life ❀️ xx

Today, our hansom boy Albie went off to be neutered πŸ’
He has been in doggy rehab, and thankfully, he has come on so well that he's moved into a foster home, where he is receiving ongoing training. He still has a little way to go, getting used to people, other animals, traffic, etc, but he's definitely getting there.
Albie is available for adoption, but his new owners will need to continue with his training and ensure him he's going to be safe and loved for the rest of his life. In return, we guarantee he will show you incredible loyalty πŸ₯°

This beautiful girl was picked up as a stray last week but sadly, nobody collected her or reported her missing.
She is coming into rescue today and we know she will be totally spoilt when she gets to her new foster home. Her foster Mum has named her Cookie. πŸ’
Cookie is very underweight. She's bald on her back end, had the worst flea infestation we've ever seen on a dog and her ears are severely manky. She has been the vets and got meds so hopefully this will help her.
Only way is up for this gorgeous girl, where she is going to know nothing but love from now on. πŸ’

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.906940014809315&type=3

Walter was finally picked up after straying for 3 days in a Warwickshire village. His chip details are not up to date, no one has reported him missing and no one has come forward to claim him. 😒 he's served his time and now ready for a forever home. He's fine with the fosters female dogs and cats, and great with children. He needs to be neutered, and we will be getting him vaccinated asap.
We have a few families on our waiting list who are interested in a small dog, so they will get priority as they have already passed a homecheck. If they're not interested in Walter he will be available for adoption within the next few days, so its still worth applying if you feel you can give this gorgeous boy a forever home. πŸ˜‰

About us

Based in Coventry, West Midlands ~ Suki's Canine Rescue is a Registered Community Interest Company (8266014) set up in 2012 to help educate dog owners and promote responsible dog ownership as well as rescuing dogs out of time in the pound and taking owner relinquishment's. We also provide safe, loving foster homes for dogs whilst their owners are in the hospital, homeless or in need of any kind of respite.
We rent a 0.83 acre field which enables us to train and exercise our dogs off lead prior to them being rehomed. Exercise and good mental health go hand in hand equally as much for dogs as humans.
Suki's Crew are all unpaid volunteers with a passion for helping dogs in need. Most of us have worked alongside rescues before, some of us have rescue dogs ourselves and some help with training & rehabilitation so they're ready to go off to their new homes. All dogs are chipped, neutered, vaccinated, flea & worm treated and given a once over by a vet before leaving our care and going to their matched forever home.
We go above and beyond to help dogs by organising searches, reuniting stray dogs, assessing, offering advice to owners who are experiencing training issues with their own dogs, saving dogs from going into pounds and dogs who are out of time in pounds, home checks, transport runs, taking care of dogs whilst their owners are in hospital, homeless & so much more.

We are truly honoured to announce that we are members of
