It's Taiwanese Mid-Autumn Festival once again held by CUNE Chinese program with Jo! We had a blast last year and this year will be just as fun with your participation. Mid-autumn Festival in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, etc is when people celebrate the harvest full moon in the autumn. Traditionally, we gather our family and friends, eat moon cakes, eat pomelo and appreciate the moon. It has also been a new trend to do Taiwanese style BBQ in the recent decade. This year in Seward we are very fortunate to have Dr. Vicki Anderson kindly opens up her house for our activities. Come experience the culture and connect with others! If you are interested to join us, please PM me to RSVP and get the address. You are encouraged to EITHER bring your own meat or vegetables to grill, OR chip in some dollars to support the event!!
