Hello everyone!!! Back on July 15th I featured my good buddy Rex🐽 and how he fell asleep during his spa day ❤️🐖💤 I was trying to highlight how adorable he is and that sedation free, restraint free hoof care is the way to go, but there have been more than a couple people who have questioned his gender. So here is a brief explanation of gender
and how to tell boy pigs from girl pigs. Again, this is a brief explanation and keeping is pg for audience 🐖 NOTE: male horses don’t have them either!🤣 Have a great day!!!💃🐖

Picture it…Plymouth CA July 12,2024 😆
It’s 108 degrees out and you run over a chunk of metal you didn’t see in the road and BAM you have a flat 🛞😩 So I did what every reasonable person would do in temps so hot 🥵 and I called for help! Well first I went to google, and I found upcountrytowing and Phil came out to save the day!!!! Thank you Phil for being great in the 108 temps and getting me back on the road to finish the work day💃🚙🕺☀️

🏁Final day 8 in central CA
SHHHHHH! Rex🐽is sleeping! 😴 🤣
This calm and cool guy fell asleep as soon as I was done trimming his tusks and cleaning his eyes and ears 😂 He loved the hoof trim part and was out like a light! So please enjoy his bed head and soft talks🥰 and didn’t forget to check back this afternoon to see the before and afters he slept through me creating 🤣
PS: the work I do on pigs really is 100% sedation free 💃

Day 4 🥵 from central CA
I LOVE SANCTUARY DAYS!!! 😃Boy did we get work done fast at Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary and Education Center ! With helpers to hold I was able to get the hoof and tusk trims done in no time🏃‍♀️💨 We wanted to get everyone back up and finished and back in their mud holes ASAP!! With this dream team it was goals achieved 💃

Heat stress is no joke! And when my pal Jerky🦃 started showing signs of it (panting and hot to the touch on the skin beneath his feathers) Auntie Em swooped in with the air conditioner on high 💨 for the rest of the time I was working on his mammoth mule brother 😃 Be sure to change out waters often so the water is cool and refreshing, put out fans and shade sails where needed and be sure to feed cool water rich treats like cucumber 🥒 and watermelon 🍉 Stay cool out there and check on your animals often ❤️
