BERLIN!
Well done to those of you who guessed correctly.
We chose Berlin as we think that it is a city rich of both Culture and recent History.
Our First recommendation when visiting Berlin is Checkpoint Charlie.
Checkpoint Charlie was the crossing point of the Berlin wall between East and West Berlin during the cold war.
This is an exact copy of the original checkpoint with a museum accompanying.
A site that is definitely worth visiting to learn important parts of history.
Recommendations to visit early as it can get quite packed mid-day.
(It is also only 7 Euros for students)
