CAPOW are parents/carers of pupils at Wycliffe CE Primary School who enjoying raising money for the school through fun events and activities.

Please have a look this weekend for giftable toys that you would like to donate, drop them at reception on the morning then come along between 230 and 4pm to find something to swap! Perfect for Christmas or birthdays and great for reusing toys.

The next CAPOW meeting is this Thursday 28 September, 3.30 pm at school! We'll start planning for a school disco in November, and start discussing other events for the year. Please do come along if you're free and interested in getting involved!

Wycliffe Edible Garden is starting to fill up with plants, and looking great! Children have been planting broad beans, peas, lettuce, radish, garlic and more! If you end up growing too many of something at home, please bring spare plants in for the garden next Thursday 18th! ππ₯π₯¦

A spring like day for jobs in the edible garden today!
Painting and fixing the shed and greenhouse, digging out some compost ready for the beds, weaving the willow tunnel, collecting wind blown litter and enjoying the bird song and sunshine! π±βοΈ

Friday was the turn of some of the children in Amazing Ash to help in the school garden π±
Awesome Ash checked the bird feeders, looked for signs of spring - and found primroses and daffodils appearing πΈ πΌ. They planted some radish for the greenhouse and checked the pond for signs of frogs πΈ . We are really hoping for frogspawn this year π€π»π€π»
