Health Sciences senior Kristen Shaw recently presented about her internship with UPMC at Co-Curricular Engagement Academy! 👏🏥
At the internship, Kristen shadowed health coaches, connected with healthcare professionals and provided feedback and input from a college perspective for health on campus.
Our HLSC1020 visit to St. Clair Hospital today was a huge success! The students represented RMU well, and were able to learn directly from clinicians about career paths that they are interested in. They visited the lab, therapy departments, and tried some hands-on activities like TENS therapy, thickened liquids, decoding medical images and analyzing plated samples under the microscope. Thank you Dr. Conrad for making this possible!!
Congratulations to all our students who were recognized for their outstanding achievements at the SNEHS Student Recognition & Awards Ceremony on April 1st!!!
Best wishes for continued success!!
