Well it’s official we are on school holidays!! The Chaos crew went out with a bang after celebrating a whole week of Creative by Design. An entire week devoted to the arts, whether it be creative, performance or visual arts it’s all celebrated in this fun filled week. It all ends with an entire school colour run!! A joyous event filled with colour and smiles!!

We are excited to begin some product filming ready for our Christmas collection this year!! Watch this space to see the crew in action!!!

Raising Chaos Makers is a messy season in life, but it’s these little snap shot moments that make it worth it.
While cooking dinner, the kids disappeared from the play room and the house became quiet…….. Normally that means one of two scenarios.

1: All hell is about to break loose and for a solo second you mentally try desperately to remember where you had the Sudo Cream last.

Or

2: You hear the soft giggles of delight, as for a moment the Chaos Crew combine forces in creating a new game with imaginative scenarios and storyline’s.

It’s these rare moments that remind us why we choose toys over tech in our household. These moments would not have happened if all 4 children had their heads in a device.

We are thankful for connection and social skills and it’s something we prioritised from the beginning and it’s paying off.

One day the rooms will be empty.
One day the rooms will be clean.
One day the toys will be gone.
One day they won’t be there.
And then…..
One day the rooms will be full again, full of squeals of delight from grandchildren who are learning about the joy of play.

Follow our Journey during Operation Christmas Child 2024! We have already been blessed to have 6 shoeboxes put together!!!

Our biggest concern is that this next generation are losing the art of social connection and communication in the physical sense.

The only device is our home is a TV for the kids and a PlayStation that is not connected to the internet.

We just want our kids to be able to a hold a conversation and socialise with other people and see the wonder that’s right in front of them.

We have been M.I.A from our socials for the past week, due to a short hospital stay for our chief operations of chaos AKA Mum.

It was a mysterious Thunderclap Migraine that came on around 12.30am last Monday, and with diagnosed APLS there was no leaving anything to chance or a “she’ll be right mate”

Instead it was an immediate call to 000 for a suspected TIA or brain bleed. Thankfully all scans came back clear, although they cannot rule out a TIA as my INR levels are currently in a chaotic state, either plummeting or drastically rising.

Much to the smallest Chaos Crew member’s disgust I was discharged from Logan Hospital (resulting in his free biscuit stash being abruptly cut off!) and I’m now on close monitoring from QML for my INR levels, as well as a 2 week NO driving enforcement (better to be safe than sorry)

Hubby has taken on the Mum Taxi role while I rest up and hopefully get these INR levels back to normal.

As for The Chaos Emporium, it’s business as usual, because if there is one thing we do well, it’s CHAOS!! So keep those orders coming in, as there is nothing we love more than knowing our products are going out to homes across Australia to encourage learning through the art of Play!
