Nubaria Gas Company
Nubaria Gas Company’s first project was to construct and operate a 43 kilometer, 24-inch, high-pressure, 70-bar steel pipeline to transport natural gas from Tanta to Nubaria to supply the West Nubaria Power Station. The plant is considered one of the largest power generations projects in Egypt, of 2,250 MW capacity from three combined cycle gas turbine modules. The output of the station is 50% greater than that of Aswan High Dam. By the end of its third module, the pipeline will be pumping 10.2 million cubic meters of natural gas per day. Established : 2003

Kahraba
Kahraba delivers state-of-the-art, natural gas-based electrical and thermal energy solutions to industrial and commercial clients in Egypt and the MENA region. It also builds, operates and owns power generation stations,
substations and distribution networks selling electricity and thermal energy to industrial and commercial clients. The Company currently runs four power plants in Egypt serving 12 clients including a co-generation plant that provides electricity and hot water to the American University in Cairo’s new Kattameya campus. Kahraba has also finished constructing the first phase of a 20 MW central power plant with a planned capacity of 100 MW to serve Borg Al Arab City’s Fourth Industrial Zone.
