Grand Rising, As I get ready for Physical therapy this morning, on my walk I was reflecting on how good God has been to me and where would I be without my God. August 26th is approaching for The murder trial of my son Lee Vern Turner Jr. I'm so ready to move forward and get the Justice that my son deserves. Holy Spirit greet me at the court house doors. Gun violence is all over the world and we must join together Internationally. Africa be proud of your king!

We all know that people carrying the Guns are responsible for the crimes, that's common sense! But we also know many carrying the Guns are not responsible, most leave their Guns in unlocked cars, or your Gun is not locked up in your house. Very irresponsible. But what about innocent people sitting in their homes, or just out minding their business and they become a victim of gun violence, Bullets have no Eyes and too many innocent bystanders have been affected or killed by careless gun owners. Most Guns are stolen, so it's up to you the owner to lock up your weapons. Period!

Grand Rising beautiful family and friends, Today is our Tennessee State Observance Day July 28th, Bullets have no Eyes bringing awareness against Gun Violence. This Year I wanted to do something very different, to get the attention of our constituents. I asked those who wanted to recognize our State Day to do a small video or make a certificate or a plaque. I will be showing all day today. Today makes 6 years that Bullets have no Eyes have been active in the State of Tennessee. I will start with my story December 16th of 2020, our Son Lee Vern Turner jr life was taken by gun violence by two juveniles. The grieving and heartache has been hell for me, The long journey waiting for his trial is very traumatizing. Court hearing after Court hearings the long wait, and not being able to speak or say anything 😭. Family functions, his birthday and wondering how his would be as a father or a husband. Lee was cheated 😭 out of a lot of things at the age of 22. I pray not only today, but every day, you know what and where your children are. I pray that Gun Violence doesn't knock at your door 😭 it's devastating to everyone that has a heart. Gun violence affects everyone, including your household, your school, neighborhoods and your cities but most of all your state. Bullets have no Eyes is our State Day of Awareness so please start recognizing it and bring awareness against Gun violence. August 26th 2024 we will be at the Birch building Court room 6A in Nashville Tennessee at 9 Am. It doesn't get easy but I have prepared myself for the unknown. No justice No peace!! 🙏😭 Staying on my journey, Carry on because I am.
