It’s not “how long did that painting take you”

It’s how long has it taken you to get to that point. It’s the years training, experimenting, failing, exhibiting, the little red dot moments, the creative brain that never sleeps.

There’s so much behind every painting. And a story of an artist behind each one.

In the month of love ❤️

3 years!! Always celebrating the little wins around here. Can’t quite believe it. A mix of time flying like never before but also feel like so much has happened over the last 3 years and I’m really grateful for the constant amount of love and support I’m lucky enough to receive. Art is all I’ve ever done or ever known yet it still doesn’t feel real that I get to do this every day. One day I hope to be able to say “I’m an artist” with complete confidence.

Thank you to those who have purchased work from me, like and share my posts and most importantly for the kind comments and daily reminders to “keep painting”.

Been reminiscing and looking back through my old posts and if you can take anything away from this it’s to “squeeze everything out of each day because life really is for living. Make moments and hold on to everything and everyone you love. Be kind and give hugs..always. Only give your time and energy to what truly makes you happy”

We’re not around forever. Make it count.

Huge thank you to Manchester United and the MMMF for inviting me back to Old Trafford to showcase my art for another year running. Completely blown away by your love and support. This is always a special night that makes me really proud to be a red (and proud to be an artist too).

I say it every time but this is more than just football. The money raised through the MMMF not only preserves the legacy of Munich 1958 Air Disaster for generations to come but also supports children’s charities in Munich, Belgrade and Manchester❤️

If you can be anything, be kind. The world really needs it right now. X

Oriel plas glyn y weddw have supported me from the early days, I think this is the 4th year exhibiting in their summer exhibition. It’s one I feel really proud to be part of. Standing alongside people who have a vision and create with pure love and joy is really special. Sometimes none of this feels real. If you told mini me that I’d be doing art every day and doing it in my own studio I never would have believed you. The love and kind messages of support I receive daily, I take right to my heart. Also, I know that my angel Mumma would be dancing about knowing that I’m carrying on and you guys are all here looking out for me ☁️🤍

Taken a step back from art events this year to put my focus into private commissions and to do a little more to take care of myself however, last night was one I couldn’t miss. Getting invited to Old Trafford by the MMMF and to showcase my art again was a huge privilege. Our club is absolute class. It’s history, legacy and how even in tough times, we dig deep to support people who need it more. I said the same last year but this isn’t just about the football. The MMMF is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Munich 1958 Air Disaster whilst also raising money for children in Munich, Belgrade and Manchester. Thank you so much for having me and also to the very generous supporter who kindly donated £1000 for my Flowers Of Manchester Print which contributed to the grand total of £15,000 raised on the night. Completely blown away and proud to be a small part of United history. If you do anything today, be kind🫶🏽

Got asked the other day how my friends and family have reacted to me doing art. Can honestly say I’ve got the best little team around me. Say it every time but I couldn’t be more grateful. Good times, bad times and everything in between, you’re the reason I’m standing here now, a year on, doing what I love most. It was a risk in the beginning but a dream’s never too big, you’re never not good enough and as Gpa always says to me, “never stop believing in yourself”. Hugs and let this be your reminder 💭❤️‍🩹🪐 X

Last July I was invited down to The Eden Project as a Wildcard on Landscape Artist Of The Year (we had to keep it quiet until now 🤫) Something a million miles from my comfort zone and was deffo greener than expected 😆😩 A real experience. And a reminder to keep doing your thing and be your true self. Was complimented on the way in which I capture light which made the whole experience worth it 🙏🏽

Unbelievably generous people in the room last night and I feel very proud to be a red. It’s more than a game of football. So rewarding to go home knowing you’ve had a positive impact on 1 person’s life, never mind all the lives that will now change because of the work of the MMMF.
