Today in Powers of Aromatherapy! A retrospective study compiling 18k+ aromatherapy sessions proves that aromatherapy truly "is a thing".
Most doctors still believe that aromatherapy is no more than placebo. However, the study linked below shows otherwise and the body of evidence cannot be ignored. The effects of essential oils have been proven again and again, and the more research there is, the more we see the real benefits.
Here's a link to the research http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27062964

Winter Skin 101: Keep it hydrated & keep it simple
A relaxing ritual to end the day . A beeswax and almond oil balm made with lavender, roman chamomile and mandarin help this little one and me get ready for some zzz's. Didn't think it was possible, but looks like she loves it even more than me;)
Balms are super easy to make once you have the basics; a carrier oil, your fave essential oils and beeswax 🐝.
A small gift to keep your skin fresh & hydrated and keep the colds always for the season.
Diffuse this pure essential oil blend or use as a facial steam. Thieves blend has eucalyptus, lavender and rosemary . It has fantastic antibacterial properties and is great for sinus and head colds and congestion.
This facial mist will keep you fresh and hydrated. This blend of oils are great for tired, dry, irritated inflamed or mature skin.
It's shopping season. Use your dollar to influence and say where you stand. Besides local business and hand crafted artisans are so much fun!
So anyone who has been to my house knows that it usually smells! Lol. In the best of ways of course. The benefits of diffusing essential oils is numerous. Last night a blend of roman chamomile, lavender, frankincense and sweet marjoram helped my littlest doze off more peacefully and eased her nasty cough.
