2019? it was hot on the salt at Bonneville. This is my car in the old livery. Great great times.
Entry in and room booked for the Loring Timing Association Harvest Event - Thursday Sept 3 - Sunday Sept 6. Excited to get back to Loring and try to better our record in the TS1600BB class. Being my home track it is always great to get back to racing there. This will likely be my only race this year, as with many people from the east coast. Next year looking forward to Loring and World of Speed at Bonneville.

Out with the old, hopefully in with the new. This my Tuned Stock 1600cc engine. It hols the record for TS1600BB Beetle. Almost completely stock except for the following.
Large oil sump
MoFoco heads, stock casting and valve sizes.
Much of the engine has had components that were chosen using my flow bench to find the best pieces.
Headers.
I believe it is 71 HP and 92 Foot Pounds of torque.
I will be putting this up for sale if anyone is interested.
It has run 104 MPH and some change in a stock beetle.

Here you have my Brand NEW H/CPRO engine ready to be installed. There has been a lot of engineering, Flow benching, and precision machine work done to this engine. Thanks to Dennis Miller and Misty Dennis Miller of the Vdub Store for all of their help and support. It has taken a while but I believe it will be worth the wait. I am going to try to make the ECTA race in Arkansas in September.
