INGREDIENTS
• 2 cups rolled gluten free oats
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 3 large mashed bananas
• 1/2 cup almond butter (or sub any nut or seed butter you have!)
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp flax, 6 tablespoons water. mix together and set aside to bind)
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 tbsp almond milk (or any nut milk)
• 3 tbsp cacao powder
• 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
DIRECTIONS
• pre heat oven to 350 degrees, and mix your flax seed with water to make the flax egg. set aside.
• add all ingredients into the blender minus the chocolate chips.
• add flax egg when it’s ready (about 5 mins), blend, and stir in the chocolate chips.
• pour into muffin tin liners, bake for about 19-22 mins or until golden brown, let cool, and ENJOY!
(yields about 8-12 muffins)

What is TAROT? ✨ A lot of people get nervous when they see Tarot cards... they either don’t want to “know their future,” they think it’s anti-religious, or they think I’m some creepy witch whose going to know all their secrets.

Well! While I do strongly believe that every person is entitled to his do her opinion, here’s what I know Tarot to be...

Tarot uses the energies of the Universe (which was created by and encompasses God) to bring forth your most intuitive feelings. Your guides, angels, and God work together to bring your highest self to the foreground, so that you can get clear on what you want, how to get there, what’s currently holding you back.

The more “science-y” side is that each card holds specific vibration, so you choose the cards that match or complement the vibration that you need. In short, you pick a card (there is no such thing as picking the “wrong card”), and we read what it means. You get clarity and guidance. You feed GOOD. You do NOT know your future, as you ALWAYS have free will.

Tarot isn’t for everyone; however, I do think that there is a stigma around it that should be lessened. It’s sacred, but it’s also just super fun and we always end up giggling through it 💫

INTENTIONS 💫 there’s a LOT of talk about them, but not too much clarity on how to set them. While there is no one particular way to do so, I like to set intention with a ritual.

Sometimes that means a celebration, sometimes that means using crystals, sometimes it means journaling, but today, it meant using SAGE and YOGA.

I have been experiencing major anxiety lately, so I decided today that I would BURN IT 🔥 That means heavy muscle work as well as physically lighting my sage on fire.
-
When I lit my sage, I set my intention: “As I flow, I will burn away the lower vibration, all that which does not serve me, so that I may continue into the light, and ignite my highest and truest good.”

This may not be traditional yoga, but it does incorporate yoga basics such as bridge and plank, both of which will help create FIRE 🔥 in the b***y (the Root a.k.a your sense of GROUNDING) and the belly (the Solar Plexus a.k.a your POWER CENTER).
Repeat this cycle as many times as you’d like to get a good, healthy burn!
Remember: keep knees over toes and shoulders over elbows 💛 adjust when needed to keep this proper alignment.

This is an old picture, but it really resonated with me today. If any of you know me personally, you know that I tend to have my head in the clouds... pretty much all the time ⛅️
Sometimes it’s really distracting, and stops me from focusing on my goals. But sometimes, it’s f*cking awesome, and allows be to DREAM BIG and BELIEVE IN MYSELF. And right now, it’s the latter 💫
So I’m taking it as it comes, feeing my power (helloooo solar plexus chakra — I see you), and charging it!
Just thought I’d share this little thought in case anyone is feeling lost. It is normal to feel that way, and you are not alone! There are always ebbs and flows in life, and we just have to ride the wave baby!

Today, like most Californians, I had no idea how to properly function in this rainy storm ☔️ Combine that fact with the constant dull tugging of my uterus (thank you Mother Nature), and YOU BEST BELIEVE I was not going *all the way to the driveway* to get my yoga mat 🤫 But no stress here! Blankets and yummy, gooey movement to the rescue✨Just a few minutes of organically moving my body totally saved the day, and I’m ready to charge it! Fellow CA babes, how do you function (cough cough, get out of bed?) when it’s raining?!
