Outdoor events in August can be tricky when your products can melt...So I’m putting together some bath soaks!! I take baths at least 3 times a week, they can be so grounding and restorative ✨✨
Yesterday was International Self Care Day. But self care doesn’t have to come with fanfare or hashtags, it’s just things you can do every day to take care of your physical and mental self! As someone that developed anxiety in my late teens, taking care of my mental health every day is really important. A few ways I do that are by using essential oils, reiki, breathing exercises, guided meditation, qigong, gratitude journal, and most importantly listening to my body. Start small and build on that, it’s fun to find different ways to slow down and connect with yourself ✨

While in the Netherlands, we visited the worlds largest flower market in Aalsmeer called FloraHolland. It was a sight to behold...flowers and plants from all over the world are supplied by growers and purchased by traders. I should note, this place smelled AMAZING!!!

I can't wait for my lavender to start blooming! Spring is here (FINALLY) and I'm love'n the new growth I'm seeing in my tiny garden! The smell of fresh lavender and rosemary remind me of my visits to Grandma Mac's home when I was a wee one. She had the most beautiful gardens, they were quite magical to a 5 year old!⠀

I sure have been a busy bee...Not only am I leaving for a much needed vacation in The Netherlands in 11 days, but I’m also preparing for 2 events when I get back!!
