Was able to Pilot Worst nightmare for the win at 329 ft and some change. Strong class of tractors seems like everyone was stacked in within 12-15 ft. Track was not there to begin with but seemed to be coming back around as the day went on. Dad laid down a smooth pass on the original but went 319 for an 8th place pass so she was pretty tight knit through out the class. Onto St.Peters Illinois Sunday afternoon!

It’s been very inconsistent but I finally laid down the pass we’ve been looking for with worst nightmare today was able to take the win at 346-348 ish ft. It was a good day of pulling!

Piloted the original nightmare for a strong third place run today in Loda Illinois. I don’t know exact distance but I believe it was around 325ish ft. Track was obviously very dry.

Newman Illinois (Josh) my 4th place pass at
355 ft. I did two things wrong during this pass. my gear selection and I didn’t ride the clutch out even close to long enough. The track at the beginning was greasy and I basically sat what seemed like still for a second or better at the beginning of the track when I was out on the clutch.

Newman Illinois Kayla’s monster second place pass at 378 ft. Track was way to long for our liking. EGT’s go through the roof on passes like these since our class has no water inject or inter cooler.

A sneak peek at the front page of this week’s edition of the Ford County Chronicle …

‘There’s no way we’re going to find another Joel Moore’ | Ford County Chronicle 27/04/2023

Joel was known as a great guy by all who knew him. Gone way too soon. Our family will miss seeing you around the track. Our condolences to Melisa and family.

‘There’s no way we’re going to find another Joel Moore’ | Ford County Chronicle THAWVILLE — With his characteristic black cowboy hat, Joel Moore was a recognizable man around Iroquois County. He reportedly wore a black hat because he could not keep a white one clean. “I had lunch with him a couple of weeks ago,” Iroquois County Board Chairman John Shure recalled of Mr. Mo...

Ridgefarm Illinois. 2&3 place

18/09/2022

Well this year has not been the year that we had quite hoped for. To start off the year in January we had one tractor (nightmare) win both sessions at the 2022 winter nationals and come out a champion. The one I (Josh) piloted had a snap ring that keeps the countershaft in place pop off and ate the transmission on worst nightmare. We were unable to get a shaft for the new trans til the second week of august. On the original nightmare I (Josh) was down in Newman, driving the original nightmare. Got to 356 ft and hit a hole in the middle of the track causing the tractor to unload and then load back up again. In turn, caused us to eat a transmission as well on the original nightmare and also an injection pump. So, we were out of commission on them both for the remainder of June and the first three weeks in july. We got a second place in Peoria and we got a 5th place in Champaign with the original tractor. And made an attempt in Georgetown and had turbocharger failure. Finally, got worst nightmares trans back together for the third time. It was finally correct. So, we went down to Ridgefarm, managed to get a second and third place down there. Dad piloted them both down in Beecher city for a second and third place. Finally, after a long afternoon of sitting and waiting we managed to finally wind up with a first and second place with them both. I went 298 ft on worst nightmare and dad went 291 on original nightmare. Thanks everyone, and sorry for slacking on updates. It’s been a hectic but yet unproductive year of pulling for us. But, things are looking up with the way the two ol girls are running now.
