Celebrating Juneteenth!!
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day is the oldest known celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. It is a major part of our American History that should remind us that “nobody is free until everybody is free.”
This year marks the third year that New Jersey will celebrate Juneteenth as an official state holiday. Instead of celebrating on June 19, the state observes the holiday on the third Friday of June each year.
