My top 5 tips to make the most of your bridal makeup trial 👉🏻

💕 Come with lots of inspo pics/ moodboards of the kind of look you would like. Ideally pics of real brides or from a makeup artist’s page- try and avoid too many Pinterest photoshopped images

💕 Put on a top in a similar tone to your wedding dress and also a similar neckline- this will give you an idea of how everything will work together

💕 Bring along any of your fave products that you might want your makeup artist to see to get an idea of what you like and products that work for you

💕 If you can book in your hair trial on the same day this would be a great chance to try your whole look out. Some brides even book in a dress fitting aswell; make the most of having your hair & makeup done

💕 Be honest with your artist- this is probably the most important one. We aren’t mind readers, you need to speak up if you want to adjust something or try something else. We want you to leave feeling confident your wedding look is perfected ready for the wedding, and this can only happen if you communicate your thoughts and preferences. It’s impossible to offend us, we just want you to be happy!

Lois and Andy had a beautiful celestial themed wedding at at the weekend, complete with star gazing for guests, how cool 🔭🪐 🔭🪐 can you believe that apart from afew individuals to fill in gaps, these lashes are Lois’s own, lash goals right there 😍

First wedding at and what a fantastic one it was! A flat out morning with Beth and her girls 💕 .robinson.96 it was so lovely to be a part of your day after getting to know you these past few months, hope you had the most amazing day!

Beth came to me as a last minute bride after a bad experience elsewhere. As a makeup artist I would say the most important part of our job is to listen. It’s so easy to just get carried away and do the makeup you want to do, when in real terms you need to get inside your brides brain and try and visualise what they want.
After a successful trial where Beth’s mind was put at ease, she was able to relax and enjoy the morning ☺️

I’m often asked what is my bridal makeup must have….my answer? Skincare! Your makeup is only as good as your skin. Happy, hydrated skin = foundation sitting beautifully and lasting longer. At your trial if needed we can do a deep-dive on your skincare routine and although I am in no way a dermatologist, I can recommend great products to add to your routine in the run up to the wedding to help achieve the skin you want and iron out any issues💕

I saw my lovely bride Katie from a couple months ago today so thought it was fitting to share her beautiful bridal look!

We changed quite afew things from the trial but Katie trusted me to know exactly what it was she wanted and we nailed the look on the day. She actually told me today it was the prettiest she’s ever felt, which is the ultimate compliment ❤️
