Seguin Matador Baseball

This was a great week for our guys. Tuesdays and Thursdays they are at the school by 6:15am for conditioning , go to school till 4:05 with a workout during that time, get a short break and have fall ball practice to end the day. They have not blinked an eye to do so! Great energy, great work ethic and great character building. Super proud of them. It is all going to pay off in 139 days ⚔️. Keep going men.

Thank you to Matador Alumni Matthew Zamora. Mr. Zamora was our first speaker we have hosted for Leadership. He shared his testimony, and spoke about how decisions and choices you make today can influence the trajectory of tomorrow. It was a great discussion that highlighted our teams purpose, the influence they have on our community, and the responsibility that comes with that. It’s bigger than baseball. Thank you for your time, and keep fulfilling your purpose!

Last night, Chloe gained her wings by joining our Father in Heaven. Chloe was an example of goodness and grace, reminding us that love and joy can be found anywhere.
We mourn the years that she did not get, but we praise God for her life and the joy she must be experiencing in Heaven right now.
Please continue to pray for those that Chloe leaves behind.

Seguin beats Arkansas, 16-3. They will play either Hondo or Victoria tomorrow at the Southwest Regional Senior League tournament. We’ll have the game at 6 pm Monday on KWED and SeguinToday.com.

And that’s a wrap for another year of Matador Baseball Camp. Thank you to all families and players for dedicating their time and efforts to our Matador Baseball program. A lot of memories made, and we enjoyed it. Zoom in to see some character!

First official Matador Baseball Camp on our new field, and it was a Hot one!
We had great number 56 campers for session one, and 36 for session two. Thank you to all volunteer coaches, staff, and parents. It was a great day working with the future of our program.

Our very own Coach Gonzales had the honor of coaching team Stripes at the San Antonio Area Baseball Coaches Association Seniors Celebration All-Star game. They came out with a 7-2 win!!! Congratulations on such a great opportunity!!

Started the year with walnut springs and ending with walnut sprints! We appreciate them having us and always enjoy the great company! ⚔️

Congratulations to our very own for signing his letter of intent to play Baseball at Our Lady of The Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Matador Baseball is proud of you and we cannot wait to see what you do at the next level. One team, one beat! ⚔️

Congratulations to two of Seguin Baseball’s own Elliot Weaver and Kayden Holz on placing third at the 5A State Track meet in the 4x100 relay event. Congrats to all athletes and coaches for their hard work and dedication that have lead them to this awesome accomplishment!
