A big smile at Ralphie’s 2nd MTB time trial event at Sutton Bank Bikes and Pace Cycles Ltd. He finished 4th in his age group. He rode really well but was unfortunately up against some tough competition again. He’s still in the early stages of his age group. Hopefully he’ll start to listen to some tips and get the results he wants. We’re still really proud of him and love his continued enthusiasm. Time for a bit of practice before next months event.

So proud of this little man today in his first ever mountain bike race at Sutton Bank Bikes. He didn’t get the result he was hoping for falling into the top age group but he was up against some much older, bigger kids. He finished 4th with only 8 seconds between him and the winner. Now he knows where he needs to be I’m sure he will smash it for a win next time. Next time bring on the pump track as well.

As part of our support as a collective for great organisations that are doing their bit to clean our countryside, protect our winters, rivers and provide trash free trails. We’re over the moon to announce we’re an ambassador for dewerstone. A brand that is doing so much to provide awareness for a clean environment. Sarah Simons and James Simons were disgusted to have to pick up bags of dog mess whilst on a trail run this morning. Leaving it in a bag is actually worse than not picking it up at all. If you want to enjoy our fabulous countryside it is so important to clear up your own mess.

Think it might have still been a bit too soon in the year to bring these beauties out of hibernation and think they need re gearing for Yorkshire. It was a fun ride anyway.

The boy and the wife did great with a family attack on the red run at Dalby. They nailed it!

Ralph today during show and tell at school. Subject was “Your Hobbies” he talked about his love for snowboarding and explained a bit about techniques and how to turn and stop. Really proud of the young man he is becoming.

Last lot of fun in the snow today for a while.

Just enough of the white stuff this morning to bring out the boards. After nearly 40 years on skis the boards are a new thing to us. This morning was an ideal opportunity to practice the basics again before the season starts. Hopefully we get some more so I can get out in search of some great ski touring in the area.
