Following the success of the IT-BPM Talent Summit, IBPAP and the Department of Trade and Industry–Board of Investments (DTI-BOI) convened members of the IT-BPM Technical Working Group (TWG) from different government agencies to discuss event highlights and post-event actions, the five-year National Talent Program for the IT-BPM industry, new developments in the planning of the initiatives, and the recent collaboration of DTI-BOI with the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) on the upcoming Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX).

Present in the meeting were key representatives from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), and the Technical Education and Skills and Development Authority (TESDA).

Results of a survey conducted by Corporate Executive Search Inc. (CES) among 170 from mostly large global and Filipino companies in July 2021 indicate that new leadership issues are emerging from work from home arrangements. About 40 percent say "building spirit" and "providing emotional support to team members' are significantly harder in a work- from -home setting. "Understanding" and "motivating team members" were cited by a third of respondents as significantly more challenging aspects of virtual . Survey respondents included C Level, senior managers and midlevel managers and majority were working from home 0-8 days a month.
On the practical side, a third pointed to internet connection and focusing on work and managing distractions "quite" or "very" concerning.

Inspite of practical and leadership issues however, only 6 percent said they prefer going back to the old arrangements.

Eighty percent (80%) prefer a arrangement post-covid, with 45% wanting more days at home and 35% preferring more days in the office. Fourteen percent (14%) prefer to work all days at home.
