If baby resists Tummy Time...
⏰ Do a couple minutes of Tummy Time after every diaper change or after every bath so baby starts to expect it
❌ Avoid Tummy Time immediately after feeding
If baby cries during Tummy Time...
😀 Try doing Tummy Time exercises when baby is most happy (you know your baby best!)
🥰 Get down on the floor at baby’s eye level. Baby loves your face!
➡️ Remember: Every bit of makes a difference!
Don’t get discouraged. If you have done plenty of Tummy Time with baby, but are concerned they are not meeting their milestones, bring your concerns to baby’s pediatrician or healthcare provider.

This group's admin consists of a Mental Health Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist, multiple Certified Lactation Counselors, and multiple Nurses across many disciplines - including Labor & Delivery + Postpartum Care. If your baby is brand new to 2 years old, we would love to be there for you! We are here for weight checks, lactation support, mental health guidance, feeding issues, and more!

You may be able to tell if your little one is happy or upset but can you tell if they're hungry or full? 👶🍼 Your baby's cues change as they get older and are able to communicate more, so look for these signs to help you know if they want "more" or are "all done."

Ball rescue mission alert! ⛑️🟢 Tape plastic balls to a wall using painter's tape. Then watch as baby tries to grab and pull off the tape to get the prize! Try changing it up by taping other toys to the wall. This 7+ month baby activity helps your little one develop their fine motor, hand-eye coordination, and balancing skills. Supervision required.

👶🏼 Baby is motivated to squat when they want to pick something up. Babies use squatting instead of bending since it’s easier to balance compared to bending over.
Squatting usually happens after baby has taken their first steps and they become more confident in their walking.
