Super Mushroom Iced Coffee Recipe! 🍄

1 tbsp Micro Ingredients Mushroom Coffee
1 tbsp Brown Sugar Swerve
1 tbsp MCT Oil Powder (Acacia Fiber)
2 scoops Micro Ingredients Multi Collagen

Put Ingredients in a blender with 12oz of water. Blend until smooth & pour over ice 😎

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be.

And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy."

One thing I love about lifting at the gym is hitting new personal records.

Appearance goals are fine BUT there is something special about hitting small goals along the way...

It increases our dopamine which increases our confidence!

For example, if your goal is to run a marathon, then you don't start by running 24 miles...

You start by running to the end of your street to get a little win with minimal stress.

Then you go a little further and then a little further...

These little wins build momentum and tell your brain this was a positive experience.

I used to be morbidly obese and I would get asthma attacks when I ran so I HATED running!

Now I can go an hour without even thinking about it because I trained my brain to love it.

A healthy lifestyle starts in your mind...and then it translates to the body. 😊

There! I said it! Someone needed to!

One thing I always say is "workout to feel good...not to look good!"

What kinds of exercise do you enjoy? Drop a comment with your faves 😁

Looking great from being fit should be a side effect but not the goal...here's why:

When our goal is just to burn more calories, then we punish ourselves for eating junk food or eating too much.

I've been coaching people for 9 years and some of the most fit people have the worst eating disorders because they are constantly judging themselves and feeling ashamed for eating certain things they perceive as "bad".

The other problem with this mindset is that when we reach our appearance goals (looking good in a swimsuit, wedding dress, etc.), then we stop exercising.

A study was done in 3 groups who had clinical depression...one group did exercise (three 30 minute cardio sessions per week), one group did an anti-depressant, and one group did both an anti-depressant and exercise.

All three groups had 80% remission of depression! Now you may still have to go to therapy for depression...I'm not saying exercise is the cure.

What I am saying is that our bodies were designed to move, and exercise has mood elevating effects that are very powerful...

But if you hate running on a treadmill and you punish yourself by doing cardio for an hour because you ate a cookie...you're going to hate going to the gym!

Personally, I love dance and rollerblading. I would do those things even if they burned no calories.

If you want to make lasting changes to your habits, then you have to change your mindset.

People lose weight all the time...the problem is keeping it off!

The only way keep it off is by changing your mindset.

You must be eating a healthy diet you can stick to and doing exercise that you actually enjoy.
