I often don’t sell my cocktail books until I have a second one to hang on to. I feel very lucky to have a second copy of this gem to offer it for sale today. Printed in London in 1934 this 24 page stapled booklet contains killer recipes for classic drinks featuring their proprietary product, Fell’s Gin. This is a scarce little book, with only one copy listed on Abebooks. Available now on the Etsy store!

Vintage San Domingo beaded Turquoise and stone Thunderbird necklace. It’s story: when I purchased this piece the second turquoise bead was backwards and I noticed each smaller bead had a knot tied between them. Best I could tell, it had snapped once, then was restrung incorrectly with these spacer knots. After some DIY surgery, the bead has been turned and it is now available for sale. Maurice de Valminck was a contemporary of Matisse and a key part of the Fauvism movement. He was a famously outspoken critic of Picasso and Cubism. He blamed both for “dragging French painting into a wretched dead end state of confusion.” He passed Oct. 11th 1958. This was released in an edition of 1000 in 1959 and is signed in plate. $450

I always check the goodwill jewelry counters, looking mostly for stuff like turquoise and South Western stuff. Found this last week at Greenville location for $4.38. It won’t be for sale until I get its authenticity verified but If I’m lucky I found a 1930’s Pueblo Santo Domingo Thunderbird craved from various stone and coral pieces. 🤞🏻.
