Floor-Based Pilates every Thursday at 11:30-12:30! JOIN US!

I have always had a passion for movement and I love being able to share that passion with others. I believe in finding forms of movement that feel good for your body and soul and I hope that through my classes I can guide you to your best feeling self!

These sessions are for all levels and may include the use of props such as resistance bands, pilates balls, and pilates rings (provided). 2kg weights are not provided but sometimes I encourage you to bring them. Each session ends with a 15 minute yoga session to restore the muscles used throughout the class.

The weather isn’t always great here in London but every once in a while the sun peeks out and the dew on the grass shines and the breeze is warm. On those days, I like to lay out a picnic blanket and place my yoga mat atop it. Then I sit down, close my eyes, and listen to the world moving around me. From there, I draw my senses inward and explore my body through intentional breathing and asanas. If you’d like to join me for any of these guided yoga practices, please send me a DM now and I’ll send you the link to join our WhatsApp group 🙏 Once joined, you’ll receive notice of the date, time and location of the upcoming yoga class. 🌻 Most classes occur on Fridays.

🌈 Children, single mothers/fathers, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ students are invited to attend these classes for free.

⏳The hourglass of motherhood feels like a cruel joke sometimes, doesn’t it? Sifting sand, moments slipping through our fingers – “playtime with your little one,” “work deadlines,” “errands,” the ever-elusive “me time” shimmering like a desert mirage. We yearn for a compartmentalised existence, each segment neatly labeled and contained. But reality, like a stubborn child, refuses to be categorised.

💫 What if, instead of chasing this phantom “me time,” we unearthed a deeper wellspring of fulfillment?

In my latest blog post, “The Present Dance: Unveiling Joy in the Chaos of Motherhood,” we explore the transformative power of mindfulness and learn together that it’s not about adding more to our overflowing plates, but about a radical shift in perspective.

On the hero’s path, challenges are inevitable. They’re the guardians that stand at the threshold of transformation, the fire that tempers the steel of our resolve. They’re the detours that force us to chart new courses, the mountains we must climb to reach breathtaking vistas unseen from the valley floor. Challenges are the unwelcome guests who arrive with unexpected gifts, the disguised teachers who hold the key to unlocking our true potential.

This ancient yogic wisdom reminds us to pause in the face of difficulty. To take a deep, cleansing breath and step back from the immediate struggle. In that quiet space of awareness, a transformative truth can emerge: this very challenge, this very obstacle that seems to block our way, is a potent teacher in disguise. It holds the seeds of immense growth, a chance to develop new skills, uncover hidden strengths, and refine our perspective.

By shifting our perspective, we unlock the power to transform any obstacle into an opportunity for growth. Instead of seeing a roadblock, we can see a stepping stone. Instead of feeling defeated, we can feel the thrill of a new challenge. This shift in mindset isn’t about pretending difficulties don’t exist. It’s about acknowledging them while simultaneously recognizing their potential to propel us forward on our yogic journey. So next time you face a hurdle, take a deep breath and remember - your greatest teacher might be disguised as your biggest challenge. My daughter Isabella started reception last week which now means that I have more time for myself again and the other things that I love, such as teaching and practicing yoga. I wanted to ask you all for a quick favor. I was thinking that with my upcoming "free time" I could throw myself back into teaching yoga. I am currently designing a course, one which has the theme of the Hero's Journey and an Odyssey sort of interlaced throughout.

Happy Sunday everyone. My daughter is about to start reception next week (I can't believe it's happening, I'm so not ready to let her go). For five years now she has been my whole life. Everything I do has revolved around her.

Now that she will be going to school five days a week, I suspect I'll have more time for myself once again. In addition, my identity will probably fragment a little, once again. Perhaps you know what that feels like?

I think this upcoming change means that I will be able to spend more time doing other things that I love, such as teaching and practicing yoga. It has been so long since I was able to teach regularly... let alone practice a 90 minute session! I can hardly go 15 minutes without an interruption, and that's being generous🙈

Anyways, I wanted to ask you all for a quick favor. I was thinking that perhaps, with my upcoming "free time" I could throw myself back into teaching yoga. I am currently designing a course, one which has the theme of the Hero's Journey and an Odyssey sort of interlaced throughout. Basically, Yoga Odyssey isn't just a course; it's a journey. A journey not just of mind and body, but of the soul. It's your personal epic, leading you back to your truest self.
