On Saturday we had Mr Michael Nwoseh from Interswitch to facilitate the session on "Building Transferable Skills."

Check out some of the things he shared with the class:

First, know your Career Decisions and always try to express your giftings.

As a young person, having good mentors is as good as knowing what value you need to be relevant in your career path. Moreover, your career is the summation of your interests, experience, value, goals, skills and education. Merging all these together, it will be convenience to make career decisions.

Today's skills may not be relevant tomorrow. Hence, harnessing your potential to constantly be up-to-date is a great asset to stay invaluable in your career path.

On way to growth, you will need to pick several skills along your career which will help you to stay informed and make right decisions even if you want to switch career.

As budding professionals, there are certain skills that will always be useful throughout your career:

- Collaboration and Teamwork.
- Organisation Skills
- Leadership Skills
- Communication Skills
- Analytical/Problem Solving Skills

In addition, be reminded that your competitors are not your classmates or level mates rather you're competiting with the world. Would you rather build transferable skills that will always make you relevant in today's workplace?

This is why we do what we do at .😀

What transferable skills are you building ?

Thank you to for taking out time.

Shout out to our partners .
