Transformation time! 🌟✨ Root retouch, delicate foils, and a fabulous hair cut! 💇‍♀️ Mary was hesitant about highlights after years of a full head box color, but I promised her it would bring life and natural texture to her fine hair. This is the second cut I've done for her, and letting some longer pieces grow out with a matching color have truly made a stunning difference! 😍😍

My story

Hi, I’m Naomi.

I've always loved the hairdressing world. With a keen eye, I first began work in the industry at 12 years old, when working at my aunt’s salon during school holidays.

I went on to study hairdressing at Wintec, Waikato Institute of Technology in 2013, getting top of my class and gaining the Loreal and Dateline award of excellence.

In 2014 I started cutting and colouring on the floor of Azarni hair, a boutique salon on Hamilton’s Casabella Lane. During my time at the salon, I gained a loyal clientele who saw me as a bubbly, and creative professional whose personal makeup skills were quickly evolving. It was not long before my clients were eager for me to do their makeup.

In 2015, I started to learn everything I could about makeup artistry and the skills needed to become a professional makeup artist. After two years of self-driven study, and practice on my friends and family, I began doing makeup in the salon before eventually branching into freelance work in 2017, and starting my own hair and makeup business.
